“I would like to formally lodge a complaint against Hi-Fi Corporation regarding their dispicable customer service. Their failure to cancel my online order dispite multiple confirmations and follow-ups.
On 30/01/2026 I placed an online order #9695920 and I cancelled it within an hour after having visiting physical store and purchasing the same item. I immediately contacted Hi-Fi Corporation telephonically to cancel the online order and I was assured that the cancellation had been processed. The reference number provided to me is 9000475596.
Today, 11 February 2026 at 16:44 I contacted customer service again, for the fourth time on 0860 459 459 and spoke to a consultant named Nomcebo. During this call, I requested the contact details of a manager or supervisor for escalation. I was told that if I continued requesting the manager's contact details, my call would be terminated. Shortly thereafter, my call was indeed disconnected.
Prior to this, I had also spoken to another consultant who was extremely unhelpful, kept me on hold for extended period, ended not being attended to until I hang up.
This experience has been frustrating and completely unacceptable. I am once again requesting a cancellation and a refund on this order. I no longer need this item, and I expect written confirmation that the cancellation has been successfully processed because on Monday, 9 February I received a notification both on my messages and email confirming successful delivery of this order of which I never accept or receive any order.
Due to the handling of this matter and the poor service received, I will not be purchasing from Hi-Fi Corporation again and strongly caution others against using this store online services.”

I ordered a tablet online more than a week ago and still no delivery.
They make use of this useless courier service called aramex.
They ship your package all over the country before you receive it, if you do.
Its the second time in a month's time this happened.
And when you call them they just put you on hold for ever”
