“Delivered on time as expected. My only reservation about this lock is that it is small for use with an eBike. My Riese & Müller bike is worth over €10,000 so if happily spend twice as much and buy two larger larger D1000 type locks to keep my ebike free from an angle grinder attack. The current lock, for my needs, needs to be coupled with a hiplok chain which weakens the security value of the D1000 lock. To be honest I currently use it in combination with an Abus alarm lock and never leave my bike outside my sight when out and about. The latter two lock I suspect will be an adequate deterrent for where I live. There’s an opportunity for some clever manufacturer to make a virtually impenetrable D lock specifically for e-bikes. (Hint hint ?).”
“The lock seems to be of good quality. It is a little smaller than my ABUS Ulock. I will never know how well the graphene coating will work unless someone tries to steal my ebike. I'm hoping it lives up to it's reviews.”
“The learning curve is relatively high till one gets used to locking and unlocking the lock, as it's a bit fiddly. But the security seems to be very good, it has a very secure feel about it. And I was surprised to find out that the 2.2 KG isn't really noticeable at all when you wear it as a belt. Hopefully it'll keep my Vanmoof safe for a long time to come :-)”
