“I purchased the Hiplok Ride Shield, this product retails at 120 pounds, but I bought in the sale for 60 pounds. I think I would still buy this product for around 20 pounds, but now having fitted it to my car, I would highly recomend you use two old sheets or a dust sheet for better protection. The mat does not taper out towards the front seats so there is an area that is not protected on the rear folded down seats, on either side of the mat, the material seems ok, but it does not look like it will take well to taking it out of the car and cleaning it with a hose and soap which you will invitable need to do if your riding off road after a while. They are suggesting you put one of the wheels into a bag within the security cover which would offer zero protection to your frame. For a retail price of 120 I had expected some kind of Evoc quality design, but this looks like it was maufactured for less than a fiver. It might be ok if you road ride, but I still would never put a wheel into the pocket that they are suggesting, so all in all it will work fine if you also use some simple dust sheets on top of it.”

The top of the Ride Shield does taper out to protect the back of the seats so we're sorry to hear this hasn't offered enough protection. “When I bought the product and completed the registration process it said I could have a 10 % discount voucher, I tried to use this on buying another identical lock at£300, it didn't work when I contacted Customer Service they said it wasn't valid on this lock. So I would have bought 2 locks and had a discount on the second which would of been £30. I bought another lock from Litelock a competitor and have now got four of their locks. It seems very short sighted to me.”

“I love my Hiplok Original wearable chain.
It’s lightweight to the point where I sometimes have to check I’m still wearing it.
One thing to be aware of: Make sure you’ve pushed the locking clasp right in and to give it a tug to ensure it’s locked as it may appear lto be when it’s actually not.
Luckily when this happened to me, I was in a secure space so it wasn’t an issue but elsewhere…
All said and done, although somewhat pricey for the reflective model that I purchased, I would recommend this product.”
“Solid lock. Goes round the front wheel neatly. Small enough to fit in my messenger bag (though not super light). The mechanism is smooth and you don't need much wiggling to get it on and off. Thankfully it's not been put to the test yet.
4.5 stars - I knock off half a star because the all black lock against my all black bike doesn't stand out. I feel like a brightly coloured shackle may add that extra chance of deterring the opportunist thief from taking a closer look.”
“I own 4 E Bikes with a combined value over $20k and there is only 1 bike lock that I truly trust and that’s Hiplok. Any bike lock can be defeated but with Hiplok I know they are going to take a long time to cut the lock and hopefully they just move into an easier bike to steal. “Extremely robust heavy chain and D-lock. Thankfully neither have been put to the test yet. On the wearable chain you can only spin the top part one way, this can make locking it awkward especially if it’s quite tight around a lamppost etc. excellent customer service and delivery .”

“Do NOT use for Anything at all valuable!
These are a rip-off IMO!
They can be broken with ease, any everyday piece of theft kit will do it, even just squeezing them with a pair of pliers.
IF I had bought them on Amazon I would have sent them back, they are That bad!”
