“Very difficult to line up ground anchor so u lock can attach as lock is not big enough to fit motorcycle tyre. Very limited areas to fit through brake discs”
Thanks for leaving us a review, we're sorry to hear you are having some trouble with getting your lock to fit. We do have a bigger version of the D1000 called the DX1000 which has been specifically designed with motorcycles in mind. This will allow more room when locking your motorcycle tyre!
“Products are probably fine, but don’t get too excited about the stated delivery times. I was told 4-6 business days and paid $14 for delivery. 10 business days later the package only left the state it was sent from, it’ll probably be another two weeks for it to actually arrive. Exactly the timeframe the delivery partner states on their website for the type of shipment Hiplok paid them for, so only Hiplok to blame for false advertising.”

“i'd like to leave a review but my bike got stolen ONE FREAKING DAY before i've received the lock, so the only use i have nowadays for it is as an extra weight for jogging

“Prompt delivery of an excellent lock which easily complies with my cycle insurance security requirements. Given the rating of the lock it is not too difficult to carry around”
“Sadly, the wire stopped coming out of the lock after a few days use, rendering it ineffective. I have alerted Hiplok, and hope to get a replacement, beacuse it is a very convenient lock to carry around.”

“Great lock well made and love the rubberised coating that protects the paintwork etc on my motorbike.
I have the case for the lock when not in use and that protects it and my topbox.
It is quite expensive but if it deters thieves it is worth the money and it would apper to be very difficult to cut or break the lock. I would recommend as a good security device.”

I hang my 4 bikes, they are 24”, 26” and 29” in wheel sizes.
Hiplok could not firmly hold my 29” bike. My bike fell down after a few hours. I have to use zip tie to hold the wheel on Hiplok.”
Thanks for leaving us a review, it's a great looking setup you have! We appreciate your feedback regarding the 29” bike, holding various sizes can sometimes be tricky. We'd always recommend to use a zip tie or one of our Z LOK security ties if you need a bit of extra stability. We’ll be sure to look into ways to better accommodate larger bikes in the future!
“Confidence inspiring weighty bit of kit.
I think thieves would likely choose an easier bike to steal than one fitted with a DX1000. And for that reason I wish it came in eye popping colours to become recognisable and disuade on sight.

“My Hiplok has stopped working properly. The lock often takes a long time to release and I’m now worried about using it in case I can’t open it when my bike is locked up. I now need to replace it.”
