“It’s clearly a very sturdy piece of kit ( the DX1000 and mega chain. The d lock does really need to be wider to fit the rear wheel and / or frame of my motorcycle. Having said that combined with the mega chain and a sold secure diamond ground / wall anchor any but the most determined and well equipped thief will move on. It’s expensive to buy all this kit but it should be a one time deal.”

“It’s a very thick chain for sure, good for use as a static lock but impractical for commuting with. It’s a little shorter than I expected and the D Lock is very good. I’m using that more than the chain.”

“Already using the Z-Lock Combo and MD1000 Disc Lock, I ordered a Z-lock recently and find it equally as effective as the Combination lock version when used to secure my helmet to the bike.
Maybe a tad more convenient even.
It’s often dark and not having to read a combination lock, or determine which side of the lock is the correct side to read…all eliminated by the simple two-pronged key. 👍🏻
I have two bikes, so I’ll definitely be using both Z-locks going forward.

“Received my DX1000 lock today , super fast service & excellent communication , a quality product that's well thought out, well made & will give me some peace of mind, & help save my pride & joy from not getting stolen when it's out of view or when i'm not around....i gave 4 stars out of 5 because it would have been nice ( given it's hefty price tag ) if it came with its own protective storage bag included in the price instead of me having to purchase one ...then i would have given the full 5 stars ...just saying.”
