“The policy premiums sound cheap at the on start £162.00 my wife and I, but beware, my wife claimed for double cataract operation, total cost £2000, April UK contribution to this was £1458.60 max with they say a 10% goodwill gesture added, leaving a personal shortfall for me to pay of £541.40 plus £100 excess plus £20.20 for would you believe her eye drops. Over 25% additional cost to me personally. Can't find any literature on shortfalls in there brochure and was not told this on the phone when signing up feel very misled. They say they work off a reasonable rates scale, again this is only told to you when you make a claim not when being drawn in to sign up. Again Beware”
