“I went to the hobby lobby in jackson, michigan today early. I went looking for some beads. To make some outdoor decorations. The sign over the decoration set fifty percent off. I purchase four containers of beads, believing that they were fifty percent off. When I checked my receipt, I realized that they had charged me full price. I went back into the store and showed that to him. And they said well the yellow tag good to is already marked off its says it at the very bottom of the fifty percent off sign i said, well, that's pretty sneaky, isn't it? And the lady behind the desk said, why yes, it is. So apparently the yellow tag means it's already been marked down. All of them had yellow tags, but the 50% sign was right above them..”

“I have been frequently going to the Hobby Lobby store in Ft. Worth, Presidio location for over two years now. I became a frequent customer when I started my art business, "Art by Ana." I want to praise two of the ladies in their framing department. Both Tiffany and Summer have become friends; they help me make color choices when framing my art. They are knowledgeable and competent, with excellent artistic skills. But besides being great at what they do, they always welcome me with a smile, regardless of how busy they are. They are always friendly, helpful, and extremely courteous. I want both Tiffany and Summer to know that I am always appreciative of their willingness to help me, especially with meeting my deadlines. You ladies are the best, and I hope you get a raise! 🙏🏼❤️”

“I have to say every employee I have encountered at Hobby Lobby in Lombard on Roosevelt are wonderful. Never have I been in the store and met a rude employee. I recently went to the framing the department. The patient welcoming service I received from Leo in the department made me again - appreciate the employees they hire.”

“I’ve been a customer of Hobby Lobby for years and have always loved the seasonal decorations. Recently, I’ve noticed their stock has completely changed and NOT for the good. Tons of plastic dishes, toys, and just junk. I’m super disappointed- please change your buyers and start stocking quality merchandise!!”

“Hobby Lobby Employee Ilene was extremely helpful; she went above and beyond my expectations. In today’s world, it seems like everyone is too busy to care about customer service; but not with Ilene. I came to get a mat for my picture I bought from a local artist earlier in the day. When I came to Hobby Lobby I was greeted by Ilene with a smile and a genuine interest in meeting my needs. Ilene listened intently about my request and told me that she would have it in 20 minutes. I told Ilene that I want her to do her best and that I would come back to the store when it was finished. Ilene took my number and I left the store. I barely got out of the store before Ilene came running out calling me back into the store and telling me that she had finished with my request. When I got to the counter, Ilene brought out my picture with the new mat she had installed and I was overwhelmed at the quality of job Ilene completed. Ilene is a great employee and positive asset to the Hobby Lobby Corporation. In my opinion, she would make a great manger in the future. Great job Ilene and thank you!”

“I had a problem with the way my picture looked after framing it . It took 2 weeks to complete the project. I brought it back not very satisfied with the end results. Amy McDowel waited on me at the Grand Jct store. She went out of her way to make things right with me with an excellent attitude. Thank u Amy for your Customer Service skills that speaks volumes, I will shop here again because of her.”

“The last few times I have shopped at Hobby Lobby they have been undergoing changes. Changes are complete and now Hobby Lobby is just another dollar store. The quality unique items I used to see are long gone. What a disappointment! Unless I’m shopping for a kids birthday party, I won’t go back.”

“Order shipped to billing address. Customer rep argued with me. Have proof they sent to wrong address. They finally refunded me, but would not refund shipping cost. Won't shop from Hobby Lobby ever again.”

“I've shopped at Hobby Lobby for years. When there wasn't one in our city, I traveled to shop at their store in another city. Their service here has gone so far down hill. Never enough check outs, stand in line for ever. I order a lot of merchandise through a dept. and never had problems until now. Shifting help, dept. heads, no one knows anything. Very put out and a great let down. Merchandise in this dept. gets down to nothing before replaced. It tells me I need to seek out other suppliers of the type of merchandise I need. Shape up Hobby Lobby!!”

“Bought a mini singer sewing machine that was absolute trash . Hobby Lobby in Springfield Pa would not let me return because a piece of cardboard was not in the box! I am a crocheter and bought a lot of yarn from them but, I will not be purchasing anything else from them ever again!!!”

“I asked many staff (6) where I could locate an item I was sent mant locations, 1 staff was a manager he sent me to the other side of the store & told me there were people over there that could help me. The 6th person finally took the time to TAKE ME to the item. Staff need more training on customer assistance, not telling people they don't know or sending people on a wild goose hunt. Shame on your management team for not knowing store merchandise.”

“Fabrics dept. has a most helpful and truly kind person. Brenda helped me to quickly get the material measurements for my first baby quilt. She was so knowledgeable and disarmed me totally about the frustration of having to make this quilt for my great grandson. I thank y’all for the warmth and smiles. “The custom framing dept, associate name Janet helped tremendously with my canvas questions, she provided all kinds of options she was very kind and helpful and to top it off she did it the same day within an hour my order was done and I was very happy. “I ordered a Alaskan Hauler kit online they sent me a California Hauler which is not even available on their site. They stand behind the caption saying product can differ, which means they can send anything they want and they will not work with you for a return. I will never shop at Hobby Lobby, I hate bait and switching companies like this, I will not miss them when they go under.”
