I have been trying to get in contact through calls and online with Holiday Autos for weeks and weeks regarding my refund form my care hire which I was not able to use due to my trip being cancelled due to COV-19. When I finally got through, I was told that because I had not made contact, I would not receive a refund. The customer services representative then hung up the call. I am making a formal complaint about the process but want to flag to anyone that if you book through Holiday Autos, you cannot be sure that you will receive a refund, regardless of whether this is in their terms and conditions - be careful!

Due to the pandemic I have just had to cancel my June trip to Spain. Spoke to Helen who was the most helpful person I have had the pleasure to deal with in a long time! Great customer service will definitely be booking again.

|I had to cancel my booking 23hrs before picking my car up at Salzburg on 13th March 2020 when Austria announced closure of ski resorts. I was initially charged an admin fee for cancellation which was kindly refunded a day or two later. Understandably they have been overwhelmed by refund requests similar to many other companies in these exceptional circumstances. I was asked to be patient after querying the delay. I have just noticed the refund of booking was credited to my account on 26th May 2020. I have used Holiday Autos on a previous trip to Salzburg. I will definitely use them again.

Cancelled my car rental made through holiday autos on 15th March and still waiting for my money. Continually used delaying tactics. Told initially it could 10 working days, then 20 days then by may 31st. We shall see. Notice that you can still book a car with them and the shortage of staff does not stop them taking money off you for a new booking only when the need to give the money back.

NEVER RENT THROUGH HOLIDAY AUTOS. The communications were hugely misleading and as a result I was unable to rent a car and was still charged the full amount for it. Holiday Autos incurred no cost whatsoever as were not charged by the actual hire company so they essentially robbed my money. I would highly recommend to never use them.

They are lying about their zero cost cancellation policy. They have been hanging on to money for 8 weeks claiming they haven't got time to process the volumes of cancellation and now claiming another month. Maybe they haven't got enough cash and are technically trading insolvent? Do NOT trust them with your money - you are likely never to see it again,

Worst company ever. Booked via holiday autos at belfast with easirent. Easirent rejected my international drivers license which I used to rent a car in Cardiff the day before. Easirent said get your refund from holiday autos and holiday autos refused refund. What a scam!

I had flight cancelled by EasyJet on 11April and tried to cancel my car rent through HolidayAutos web site. It didn't work. Later rang them directly and spoken to Ana, she was very kind and professional, just asked the reason of cancellation. 2min later I have received confirmation on my email of cancellation.

FRAUDS!!! FRAUDS!!! FRAUDD!!! STAY AWAY!!! This company is just fraudulent. After booking a vehicle online, my receipt showed incorrect information, drop off and pick up location, no insurance, so I didnt stress and thought I'd sort it once I land in Australia. WELL that was an absolute nightmare, the lady at the desk was absolutely lovely, however holiday autos is a 3rd party so I had to chat to them to make changes. It took almost half an hour to find a phone number for them as they weren't replying to my FB messengers messages. When I finally got through it had been 58minutes from booking time and I was told I was too late to collect the vehicle and I needed to make another booking, the lady at the desk scratched her head and said no the car is still available. Anyway once we determined I could collect the vehicle that was when all the hidden costs were introduced to me, basically to drive the car away was going to cost me another $500 and we had just returned from a 12 day holiday I assumed what I paid online (other than $79 for insurance which I could pay at the desk) covered everything. I ended up walking away and my family and I were stranded at the airport. We ended up calling family to collect us and went away to rent a vehicle for the remaining 4 days of our holiday, ($157 0 access, free transfer drop to another airport, a free extra driver, airport transfer to and from, no hidden costs) and I will never ever use this company again. Read all the reviews they are disgusting. I am now home and have been denied a refund as this is all my fault and as I was too late to collect the car (even though the car was still held for me) they cannot refund. This company is just here to take your money, and any issues can not be resolved on the spot!!! The stress is not worth it!! STAY CLEAR

The booking process online was easy. I made the mistake of paying in advance. I was told I could cancel any time with no penalties up to 48 hours before car pickup. When I called the office I just got put on hold. When I tried to cancel online they said because of the COVID-19 concerns that I should consider waiting until closer to the pick-up date. The rest of my trip has already been canceled but they won't let me cancel my rental.

I wish I could give Zero Ratings to Holiday Autos. The issue that I have experienced was: When I get to Car Rental counter, I was denied to provide Audi A3 and I was Informed that I was booked for Toyota Corolla not Audi A3 also they said that Holiday Autos is a Fraud company and they always do fake advertisement. Also when I booked this reservation I was clearly informed that one way fee was included but I end up paying one way fee again also there were other hidden charges for which I was never informed. When I asked them to reimburse me for the loss which I took, They simply denied and stop responding to my emails. Fraud, Cheater, They do Fake Advertisement. Don't Book Through Holiday Autos RIP TO THE SERVICES OF HOLIDAY AUTOS

I do not usually leave reviews but my experience with holiday autos has been absolutely appalling. I booked a rental in advance of my holiday and when going to pick up my car at the airport my card was not accepted. I provided both a credit and debit card with enough funds covering the deposit. I was denied the service as the man at the desk did not recognise my Canadian credit card. I was left stranded in the airport with no means of transport. When I contacted holiday autos for a refund they denied this as well. They kept coming up with excuses as to why they would not issue me a refund. I explained I had provided all relevant documents and sent photos of my credit card. They would not reply for over 10days and then again denied me a refund with an alternative excuse. I highly warn whoever is thinking of using this company as it is a massive hassle and actually more expensive than sorting out transport at the airport. Absolutely appalling service. I do not recommend. Scam.

I've rented a car via this company couple of times, however when something goes wrong and you want to change something in your agreement or cancel it they will never return even part of your money. In my case I wanted to cancel my rent agreement, because I've learnt something that I didn't know before. The whole cancelling procedure could not be made because it takes so much time to even find where you can cancel the agreement and when you finally find it the option doesn't work properly. Then it is too late to even cancel because you are after pick up time. When you want to raise a complaint, again, it takes so much time to even find how to contact them. I did it via facebook, firstly they didn't respond on messanger for a whole day, they only reacted when you post a comment under one of their facebook posts. After couple of days of explaining the situation they will forward you to Resolver (complaint management company) just to learn the same as per messanger. So they've earned full amount from my renting agreement, but they didn't even have to rent a car to me.

Office wasn’t open when I got off my flight, nobody answered the phone, left stranded and had to book with another company. No refund! Horrible to deal with. Yes they will reply quickly but what use is that if they cannot resolve your problem?!?

Ran into problems with creditcard. We couldn’t change or cancel the booking because the holiday auto’s website didn’t work. Ended up paying for a car we couldn’t even use and had to change our holiday plans. They will NEVER refund you. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

Unfortunately my experience with Holiday Autos site is very bad. Firstly I rented a car from Holiday Autos site that provided Green Motion’s company as local supplier in Gdansk in Poland. When we arrived to Gdandsk in 27-12-2019 we surprised at Green Motion had no office in Gdansk airport. So we phoned them then one of the employees came after 20 minutes to pick us from the airport to their office location. There we agreed on that he would meet us on our departure day, 1-1-2020, before our flight at the same place to pick us again to the airport, the same way we came from the airport. We did exactly what we agreed on together. We waited beside the office 45 minutes, which was locked with t.v on. No answer, more than 7 calls on his phone numbers that say 24/7 active lines and I sent more than 2 messages. Then we had to take the decision to head off to the airport and parked the car in airport parking. 6 hours after, the employee called us to know location of the car without apologizing even. After 2 hours Green Motion company sent email to me saying at they charged me 73,80 EUR as penalty for at the vehicle has not been left in the designated place. At the same time, Amount of 74 EUR was also deducted from my credit card balance av. I tried to contact them but they didn’t answer. Then I reported a complaint (PL485184440, case: 01341108) to Holiday Autos site which after one and half month said at they can’t do anything! Now I will report my bank for at I have all documents that support my case.
