“Beeston Farm house was one of the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. The owners even left us a bottle of bubbly as it was our wedding anniversary, very kind and thoughtful of them. It was very clean and spacious. It was so peaceful. Everything was minutes away. we had a very relaxing week and will would go again.”

“We had a great time. The hut was exactly what I expected, it just looked more secluded in the photo and I wasn’t expecting other huts so close. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and communication with the owner was great. Would definitely recommend”

“Sadly, not impressed with our experience with this company during our stay in "Shoreline" in Teignmouth in October. On arrival on the Saturday we discovered that the instructions for the key safe were wrong. It was not by the front door as stated, so we had to go searching round the property, plus it was not the top one of two, as per the instructions, but the bottom one. Not what you need after a long journey. There was no welcome/information folder, and we couldn't get the TV to work, plus other issues, re bulbs not working, gas hob difficult to light, etc. The attitude when we rang on the Saturday we arrived was very poor and instructions given for the television were incorrect. As for the other issues, we were not given any help and basically had to muddle through with no information on the property or its equipment and appliances until Monday. They did 'phone on Monday and come to attend to some issues, but not all. We were told that the lack of information folder has never been an issue. Really? Such folders are generally provided as standard. It is the first thing you look for when you arrive, so you know how everything works and can make yourself at home. The issues that were not attended to on the Monday were left outstanding for the remainder of our ten day stay. We never heard from them again. Other issues came to light during our stay but we felt there was absolutely no point in reporting them, as it is unlikely they would have been attended to. I gave them an extra star as, on request, we were allowed to stay until 11.30 on our departure day, which was a huge benefit as I suffer from ME and really struggle in the mornings. In their defence I should add that, while I 'phoned Classic Cottages initially, they passed my query to the local maintenance team: "Travel Chapter" and it was they with whom we dealt. The owner got in touch to apologise after we left and was going to speak to Travel Chapter. It sounds as though they are doing him no favours!”

“Our stay at Aldrey Cottage was exactly what we needed for a relaxing time during our tour around Yorkshire. The cottage is very clean, well presented and well equipped with everything anyone would need for any length of stay. The bedrooms are also very well presented with sufficient bedding. We only used the bed in the main bedroom during our stay and this was very comfy. Some have commented on the access/parking being a bit of an issue. Although a bit tight, I had no issue with maneuvering in and out and I was driving an SUV. Communication with the owners was excellent from the beginning of our stay and is very reassuring as was communication from Holiday Cottages. All in all, Aldrey Cottage in our opinion is a very nice quiet relaxing place to stay and excellent value for money. It is also well positioned for exploring attractions in the surrounding areas whether walking or driving. I've stayed in far more expensive holiday lets that didn't come anywhere near the standard of presentation of Aldrey Cottage, well done to the owners.”

“Cwm Bychan is a beautifully located cosy cottage with gorgeous views all round. The cottage is very well equipped and lovely and warm when we stayed off season. It is quite isolated with only the odd farm vehicle going past. Lovely and quiet with lots of different birds to watch from the sunroom. We have stayed twice and hope to go back again. I think that says it all. We loved it! Owners very helpful.”

“Picked this cottage as a base to take my elderly disabled parents away for a break just to get away from their bungalow for the first time since they had moved down from the North East over a year ago. Cottage was just what we were after, it was clean, well equipped, perfectly located for Bakewell and surrounding areas and we all were delighted with it, including our rescue dog who, like my parents, gets very anxious when taken out of normal surroundings, and at the end of the weekend they were even talking about booking again for next year.”

“Everything went smoothly upon arrival. Quaint & cosy property in a very good location. Shower & toilet could both do with updating but would recommend a stay there. It was a great base to explore the area from. 👍”

“Casa Mia was well prepared and very comfortable. We felt that we had a nice welcome, with the fresh flowers in the kitchen and a cream tea in the fridge. The location was ideal for visiting local attractions and beaches.”

“We had a fantastic time. The cottage is really lovely. Rooms are on the small side but its exactly what you expect from a 200 year old house. Perfect setting especially the views across the fields and daily visits from the cows. Great base but there are no major supermarkets in the area. The biggest one is more than half hour drive, there are a few smaller ones but not great for a weeks self catering holiday so a delivery is really required. Very close to Corfe Castle and Swanage. Overall we had a fantastic time and would love to return one day soon.”
