The worst experience for me n our friends n family's life booking with home to go .....and amore travel....if you want to stay at a dirty place not fit for animals.....book w these agencies.....you will be scammed....I see most other reviews and don't believe how they had great service....after dealing with these people....trust me .....they must be putting these excellent reviews them self.....lol....I'm shocked that booking.com has not fully understood they are scamming people all over the amalfi coast...n Italian vacation spots w there bad service n lies on there villas n bnb vacation homes ...they will take your money n not give any refund......bad bad service and give all wrong information on the places you rent...its nothing but a scam....don't book w these people......our vacation was ruined....very sad situation

Dear hosts! Beware of scammers! They do not transfer guest payments! According to the information on the website, payments from guests should be transferred to the host's account within a maximum of 8 days from the start of the reservation. This deadline expired 15 days ago. I'm getting tons of replies! I have already sent a payment reminder. No reaction. I won't leave it like that!

El día 29 de Junio de 2024, a través de la plataforma o web “HOME TO GO” reservé dos apartamentos en el edificio “CN Tower Downtown Toronto Premier Condo” desde el 18 al 21 de septiembre, uno de ellos para tres personas a mi nombre y otro para dos a ,nombre de otra persona que viajaba con nosotros, aportando para el pago mi tarjeta de crédito, tal como se requería. Códigos de reserva nº 141784173 y 141784299. En la información publicada en dicha página web se decía que en el momento de la confirmación de la reserva solo se cargaría la mitad del importe hasta el 19/08/2024, y que el resto se cargaría a partir de dicha fecha. Asimismo se decía que la reserva era cancelable y totalmente reembolsable, siempre que se hiciese antes de la citada fecha de agosto. Al día siguiente recibo dos correos electrónicos de confirmación de Luxury Condos Downtown Toronto con números de reserva 268187 y 268191,en los que, para completar la reserva, me requerían una serie de información, parte de la cual ya había facilitado a través de HOME TO GO e imponían determinadas condiciones nuevas que no figuraban en la web. Por ello, y tras comprobar, que me habían cargado la totalidad del importe de ambas reservas en mi tarjeta de crédito, el 5 de julio solicité la cancelación a través de la plataforma home to go, y el reintegro de todos los cargos efectuados, siendo confirmada inmediatamente la cancelación a través de la web de HOME TO GO. En cuanto a la devolución de los cargos efectuados en mi tarjeta, he reclamado, a través de HOME TO GO, quienes me han contestado que el anfitrión no les respondía, y que cuando lo hizo, se negaba a la devolución, invitándome a reclamar directamente al anfitrión, y diciéndome que ellos se limitaban a poner en contacto al huésped con el anfitrión o propietario, quien imponía las condiciones, y con quien tendría que tratar para lograr tal devolución, aunque ellos intentarían también hacer la gestión con el propietario para que ello se produjera, ya que reconocían que el anfitrión había incumplido las condiciones de reserva que les había facilitado, pero que no podían hacer nada más al respecto. Ante ello intenté reclamar directamente al anfitrión a través de un e mail que me facilitaron, sin obtener respuesta alguna, desde hace mas de 10 días que lo envié. Y lo mas curioso es que, después de todo esto, en la web de HOME TO GO, aún siguen apareciendo publicitadas las propiedades con las mismas condiciones de pago parcial y cancelación gratuita, con la que me timaron. Esta es la seriedad de HOME TO GO y de TOWN FLATS CANADA en Toronto. Publicitan algo que, al parecer, no controlan de lo que y por lo que después no responden, desentendiéndose del problema. Y si te vi no me acuerdo.

I wished I would have done research on this company. I canceled a booking and they will not refund my money even though I am in the booking grace period. I have been emailing them since March 17, 2024. I have provided them a screenshot of the cancellation policy that's listed on their website and a screenshot of my credit card statement with the charge that matches the amount from their website. Still NOTHING but run around!

Home to go allows huge corporations to list homes on their site. Those businesses have requirements, over and above home to go. As a result, when I booked a home with home to go, somebody from a business called Casiola emailed me and demanded photos of my ID and credit card. When I asked why they needed.a.picture of my credit card, they threatened to cancel my trip. I reached 9ut to home to go, and they supported the business over me, telling me that I needed to provide that information, even if it was not part of the contract I had entered into, and even though the reservationwas paid in full.. When that company canceled my reservation, arbitrarily and without notice, I booked another home and paid in full. Little did I know that the 2nd property was also owned by a huge corporation, and they also demanded pictures of my ID and credit card, and they wanted me to send it through unsecured email. Again, home to go sided with the corporation. It seems that a contract means nothing to home to go, and they are very comfortable with changing the terms of a.contract after it has been signed and money has changed hands. The girl I just spoke.with actually told me that she didn't understand what the big deal is. Sigh

We were on the road during hurricane force winds and desperate to get a room later that day. We called Hilton Reservations for a room and got a reservation for HomeToGo. When we arrived at 11pm we were told “No room” and that they had left a message. “Sorry”. They did call 3 hrs earlier w/that message but my cell was on GPS and didn’t prompt me if new voice mail. Clerk told me that this situation happens because of Reservations doesn’t see hotel’s data base. Inexcusable! Because of weather, we couldn’t find a room until we looked for one 30 miles away. Hilton, fix this so-poor customer service! Betty/Bill-Annapolis

I didn’t see the fine print that said we would be charged upfront for our booking. Given that we were booking a year in advance, wasn’t too happy about tying up a large chunk of cash like that. We changed our minds and cancelled a month later. We waited the 7 business days but still did not receive our refund as promised. Not using this again ever

Can you call Homes To Go any hour of the day and there is no one available because they say you were outside their hours. I paid the deposit and then I paid the balance and I never heard confirmation that they received either. Poor communication with the customer!

I refused the room and they cancel my reservation with no hesitation. The hotel houses misplace families and use its property as a shelter. They placed me in the exact are where these families actually live. The room door looked busted open It’s smelled like water damage. And I honestly felt very unsafe. There’s no way I could stay In that room! I’m left stranded trying to find a room. This is July 4th weekend!! Horrible and sadden!!

Hate it! This company is the reason why I'm scared to book anything on line. After making a reservation, there was a scheduling conflict. Called back right away to cancel and the agent didn't accept it. They tried to reschedule instead and said they would call me back. They never called. Couple days later, I tried to get answers. They said they would call me back and never called. When I called again, they said they were keeping my $733.22 and hung up on me. I am pursuing other means to get my money back, but I will never use them again! The place I booked was 1226 #2 Martin St. Nashville, TN. Be careful with this company, based out of Arizona.

I am attempting to find a 2/2 home or townhome to rent for Jan/Feb or Feb/March 2022 in Tucson, Oro Valley or Saddlebrook. Must take 2 small dogs. Up to $6k per month When I put in those dates nothing happens. SO FRUSTRATING

I am still trying to cancel my reservation but all your so called contact number do not go through or are disconnected or the actually hotel can't even help because the reservation was made on line.

DO NOT USE A DEBIT CARD IF YOU BOOK VIA THESE CROOKS. They placed us in a very dangerous hotel in Miami. Thug-life Raves outside our room till 3.30 - 4am every night until we managed to get the police to shut them down. We endured 3 nights of this Horror story of a hotel - the 'Tradewinds Hotel' in South Beach. Shots fired 2 nights out of the 3, management who said (and I quote!) "Customers always complain but we never get shut down"... Then a person with a gunshot to the head died in front of the hotel on Saturday night. We negotiated with HomeToGo and the hotel that we had to get out of there for our own safety - especially since word got out that it was us who called the Police to shut down the Thug-life Raves, and then we were accosted by those 'people' at the Hotel Lobby who told us "snitches get stitches" in front of the hotel staff. HomesToGo and the hotel were supposed to give us back the 5 nights we had pre-paid but could not use. Amazingly, we didn't get any refund of any amounts we paid for lying on our floor ducking bullets for 4 days... We ran from there on March 6th. It is now March 24th. Guess how much HomesToGo has refunded us? Do you think it's the One Thousand and Fifty Four Dollars they owe us? Eeeh. Wrong. They have REFUNDED US ZERO. NOT A PENNY. THEY HAVE KEPT ALL OF OUR MONEY AND HAVE NOT GIVEN US BACK A DIME - DESPITE US CALLING AND EMAILING THEM EVERY DAY FOR ALMOST A MONTH. What a Disgrace to the booking world. This site should be Shut Down. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS SITE. Use one of the reputable booking sites - there are so many alternatives, not owned by Crooks who never give you your money back. WHERE IS OUR $1,054, HOMESTOGO?? WHERE? ARE YOU HAVING FUN BUYING DRINKS WITH OUR MONEY? BECAUSE WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL WE GET BACK THE MONEY YOU STOLE FROM US. They responded and claimed that they have not been refunded by someone they work with - GlobalTripper. But that is Total BS: If YOU take our Money then YOU refund it. YOU deal with Your Business Relationship, don't use it as an excuse to never refund the money to the customer that they were owed a MONTH AGO.
