When you buy your hose you should have a water tap connector on the hose well itnever have one,so hose link lost me .not good enough I feel.

I purchased the Evolve 30m hose real expecting it to be an improved version of the original. To me it feels much cheaper and lower quality than the original. In my opinion every part has been re engineered to reduce manufacturing costs and increase profits.

First one kept unscrewing at the hose and bursting off. Hoselink replaced and it did the same thing. Hose kinks too easily. Wouldn’t buy again.

I have a large property with lots of lawns and gardens and over the past 10 years have invested solely and heavily in Hoselink products. I have purchased over 10 auto hose reels, 6 manual hose reels, countless fittings and extras, auto tap timers, garden tools and even 20 solar lights. Unfortunately, the reality is the products in every category do not perform to their price point. The solar lights leaked badly and all had to be replaced. The majority of replacements have also failed. I have experienced a 50% failure rate in the auto hose reels. The manual hose reels have an auto feed that is unreliable and has components made our of mild steel that begin rusting from day 1. The flow control fittings fail which has resulting is us experiencing significant water losses and despite the product advertisement advising that "you no longer need to run to the tap to adjust the pressure or turn the water off and on" you following that diatribe at your own peril! And don't start me about those O rings in the fittings!!! All the fittings leak! You might not be able to pull the fittings apart but you certainly cant stop them from leaking unless you are constantly replacing them!! While support is available from Hoselink, the remoteness makes it difficult and if I am going to pay for products that are constantly failing then I would rather be paying half the price and be able to get replacements straight away from a local vendor. In short, the price point for this products is not justified by their performance and I have had 10 years of constant use to make that assessment. Perhaps those making a one off purchase the shortcomings are not so obvious but despite the product pricing the products don't perform to a level suitable for a larger residential or commercial property.

I purchased a hose reel and hand held spray attachment and it was guaranteed not to leak. Well I only had it for a short while when the connection started to leak. It now leaks very badly. I have also received an oscillating sprinkler. This thank goodness doesn't leak I thank you for that.

i have purchased a huge amount of Hoselink products, 5 hose reels for just one property and countless attachments, the early products are functioning well considering the age, newer items havent performed as well so tells me corners being cut due to cost pressures no doubt. Biggest issues i have emailed concerns and issues on a couple of occasions and no reply's which is poor form.

Was very happy to receive my products I have brought 2 hoses and a few other items but had issues with the hoses and connections which broke very quickly and I couldn’t fix them I did let you guys know and didn’t get a good response so I’m not sure if I will be purchasing any more

The Hoselink product is definitely of high quality. The let-down, however, is in the auto timer which for unknown reason does not allow manual control at all. This is very disappointing and for my personal application rendered it useless.

Whilst I wanted to rate as 5 star in clear conscience I could not. Specifically there were 2 disappointments. 1. The hose diameter for the 10m Compact Portable Hose Reel is smaller than Hoselink standard hose. It meant that I could not directly add a flow control connection to allow me to turn off the water flow without having to travel back to the tap. An oversight on my part for 'assumming' compatability of parts. 2. When I connected the Reel to test the unit both hose ends leaked. On inspection the hose nut and ferrules were not tight. I tightened them and checked if this was a requirement in the assembly instructions. It was not. As stated, disappointing.

We've had to replace the washers several times. Doesn't always retract back and takes several attempts to do so.

I replaced the connectors as I got drenched every time I watered as they leaked profusely. I then put new connectors on and can’t stop the fitting blasting off the hose. Expensive and still no use.

I am sorry about this Lindy! I can appreciate where you are coming from, it's never ideal to miss out on a sale. As I'm sure you can understand, all sales must have a start and end date and there are always going to be people who miss out. Unfortunately though, we are bound by the start and end date of each promotion, and backdating these is not an option given the huge number of requests we get. Disappointed when buying a replacement reel that it would not fit into the attachment from my original reel. This resulted in having to pay for a handyman to replace the backings including extra holes in my brickwork. Not happy
