Thank you for you reply but looking at this order, it was placed at 10:50 on the 25th and delivery was attempted at 08:43 on the 26th. Because no-one was there to accept the delivery at that time the driver returned the same day at 16:15 to successfully deliver. Premium timed delivery slots are not always available to us (for example during periods of industrial action), but we can offer these at other times.

“We bought a double bed wrap 38cm deep and our double divan is 35cm deep but the wrap does not cover the divan base properly it slips up or down and shows the edges. Needs to be larger or the elastic tighter”

“The product I purchased which was a diva. Cover was fine - my disappointment was the ridiculously expensive carriage cost £9.54 adding 54% to the overall cost ! The packet was so small it would have been a small packet and cost less than £1.50 to post”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We prefer to show the true cost of delivery, rather than adding it to the cost of the product and pretending the couriers don't actually charge for delivery within a few working hours. £6.95 is still a little less than it costs us for such a premium service of course.

“Was ok. Used them because nisbets didn't have of the items in stock. Turned out neither did HBS. So I was no better off going with thrm, however they didn't tell me that at point of purchase”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You are of course correct it did turn out that we didn't have one of the items ordered in the correct size and sent this on to you later, free of charge. I hope that the cheaper pricing that you received in some way compensated for the short wait?

“My first time using Hotel Buyer and whilst happy with the product and price i was a little disappointed that delivery took longer than was originally suggested when the order was placed and the heavy parcel was left at a property about 10doors away uphill!!”

Thank you for your review. We have contacted the courier and it appears that delivery was attempted within 24 hours of your order being placed and again the following day. The courier's paperwork shows it being signed for at your address on the second attempt, but that appears to be incorrect and that a well-meaning neighbour accepted the parcel for you. We will continue to seek more information from the courier.
