Items were not packaged up suitably for delivery, arrived broken. £4.99 is a lot to pay for delivery, and there is no concession for this regardless of how much you are spending. I understand that during lockdown you can't pick up instore, but it still would have cost this amount. For those of us who remember the good old days when Jenners had a previous owner, you're left feeling quite disappointed by the whole process.

My order arrived with no paperwork and no instructions on how to return if not suitable (which they aren't). I have reached out to customer services who said just to send it back in the bag to an address (no label provided) - but I am confused as to how they will know it is from me, and who to refund. When I asked this a second time, they suggested I write my details on a bit of paper and put it in the bag. I also didn't know I would have to pay for return postage as I have never had to do this before which is disappointing.

I ordered a bag which was over £100 I wasn't impressed that i had to pay delivery costs and it just arrived in a plastic bag! Other sites that deliver a lot cheaper items arrive in lovely boxes and well presented. I thought we might of got a dust bag with it at least. It is for a special birthday in lockdown.

Ordered a Belstaff jacket. Arrived with marks on. Photos were sent to customer service to confirm product was faulty. I still had to pay for return postage and was told that this would be refunded if product was deemed faulty. House of Fraser confirmed jacket was indeed faulty and exchanged it but I have still not received return postage refund nor have I received a reply to emails sent to customer requesting the refund; so very disappointing and would hesitate before ordering online from them again.

I paid for next day delivery and it did not arrive until 2 days later. Wouldn't usually be bothered but I contacted customer service for a refund on the shipping and have been ignored since.

NOT HAPPY WITH HAVING TO PAY TO RETURN THE BOOTS THERES WAS NO RETURN SLIP IN BOX I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES FOR A PRE PAID RETURNS LABEL WILL NEVER BUY ONLINE AGAIN

Disappointed that a large chain store does not have free returns and delivery especially when making a purchase for over £200.00. Will not be using again because of this.

Bought the Armani exchange biker jacket... not leather as it states. Poor fit and poor quality. .. £168 in the SALE. Then I had to pay £6.57 to return it ... as they stated it should be Royal Mail and recorded. Although I have to say, very quick in processing return and payment back to my card.. I do feel that some are taking advantage during this pandemic. As we can’t go to the shop. Do everything is costing us. In delivery. I think some should feel grateful we are still ordering online.. And take advantage of more orders, if they were less greedy in charging for delivery and returns. If you pay all that for a item. It shoukd surely be free delivery

Delivery and quality very good, but unfortunately there is No costumer service and nobody care, I send email about faulty items , after long time nobody care , and I think I don’t have choice to return all items back.because they send faulty items and I have to pay to return , I couldn’t even contact customer service. Thank you

The jacket that I ordered was not the same one as in the photo, and I had to pay postage to receive it and return it - not impressed!

Ordered a pair of boots and sweatshirt ! Stupidly thought that Fraser’s prose would be the best in their sale and found the boots cheaper elsewhere online . Again my fault but didn’t realise I had to pay to return items , these days with Amazon and many other online retailers it’s free . I wrote to customer services and they apologised very promptly but couldn’t do anything as they don’t price match . Buyer beware as the saying goes .

I have recently placed several orders from the sales. I have paid for the items and each time I have received an email to say items have been cancelled from my orders as out of stock. Why on earth let me go to the bother of selecting these items, pay for them and THEN tell me out of stock. In some cases I would not have bothered with the remaining items in the order as I would not have paid the £4.99 postage. VERY ANNOYED about it. Please tell customer out of stock at point of ordering or better still don't advertise the item in the first place.

Not satisfied with purchase - they sent a watch with the wrong strap. However looking on their system they are not contactable by phone and the cost of sending the watch back is dear. Not a good online service at all compare to others

I had a wrong item sent, it should have been a nightshirt, I’ve sent it back so we’ll see what happens, hopefully it will be rectified smoothly

i have been a customer for many years and spend hundreds of pounds a year. I am most upset that as well as changed policy that used to be free delivery if order over £50 you charge delivery. That aside I have recently ordered around 5 or 6 times, and need to return 2 items. I am most upset to find out that you charge for returns as well!!! the store is closed to return for free and your customer service has been most unhelpful when I suggested that like TKMaxx you extend returns to 30 days from stores re-opening. I will return my package, but will not be using House of Fraser again now. I found some recent items I was looking for on Zalando as well as on House of Fraser , who do free delivery and free returns so I am now buying from them and other similar sites who will at least do free returns. Most disappointed!!! From a customer service point of view they could see how much I order and spend that on this occasion HOF wont refund my postage of return.

Received a faulty order of two right shoes. No idea how this could happen. Had to jump through so many hoops just to be able to request a return. Eventually was able to return the shoes. Received a brusque email that they didn't have any left in my size. So a week wasted. If I had bought from anywhere else I would have shoes now.
