“I first visited Mr Hyslop (James) for a discussion about a potential implant after my NHS Dentist (Craig Dixon) informed me that the rear bottom molar which had been causing mild irritation had a root system that was dying. I decided to go for an implant, instead of risking a root canal and crown in case the root canal failed. I was assured by James that his implant success rate was very high >99% and that led me to agree to implant treatment. The implant involved 3 or 4 visits and went smoothly. James gave full explanations and was reassuring at each stage. As I half expected, the adjacent molar, which had also been irritating me, had a root failure upon being radiographed at my next check-up. So, I commenced a second implant procedure, but after this implant was sited it never felt quite right. When I next visited James explained it had not bonded with the jaw bone and had excessive movement. He said it was something which had happened to just one of his implant patients in the past. Anyway, the implant was removed and a longer healing period allowed. I am please to say the second implant is now complete with the crown being fitted today. They feel just like any other teeth; but irritation free. I should point out that James guarantees his work for at least 12 months and all of the extra time and work done to complete my second implant cost not a penny more. James is thoroughly professional, patient focused and technically very experienced. Having started his career with the R.A.V.C. what else would you expect!”

“I would like to take thus opportunity to say thank you to James and all your team for being so professional at all times. Most of my life i have been so afraid of going to the dentist and in the past not had very good experiences. I moved to Southport and found Hyslop dental and implant clinic. My dentist is Rhys and over time i began to gain confidnce with him and i spoke with nim about implants. After some timei went to see James. i was so nervous but James and his team made me feel more confident each timei went. It has been a long journey, but so worth it, i only wish i had the confidence to have had my implants sooner. I can smile fir the first time in years and eat food which I have found that imwas unable to do in the past. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of having implants to talk to James, I recommend him 100%”

“Rhys ward was my dentist and his assistant was Karine.Iam really nervous when it comes to the dentist,but I never or shouldn't be again.i broke my front teeth and caps when on holiday.He was amazing and gave me tempory and walked out with a smile.He also managed to fix my broken cap with a filling even though it was not part of my appointment.( Dare I say if you knew what my confedance was like when it comes to my mouth he has changed my life.Givung me back the confedance to go out without a mask.Karine made me feel comfy and I feel like I known these people for years.( I can only feel when u go back In a couple of weeks how great I'm going to feel if this is outcome so far.Even Sally and others of reception greet you with their amazing smiles,making you feel reassured as soon as you enter the building.If anyone is lucky enough to get appointment of these guys then quickly take it as I could not think of a better dentist.Im so lucky I just can not thankyou enough Mr Rhys Ward and Karine.Thanks your amazing.👍🥰😀( I now can go back in society meeting my family ect again without embarrassment.THANKS! 5 stars+”

“Amazing quality service from the whole team. Reception staff extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. Always greeted with smiles. My dentist Rhys is the nicest I’ve ever seen, my teeth are now amazing and I feel so much more confident. I would highly recommend this practice due to the excellent service from the treatment coordinator, Joanne, who accommodated me during my difficult work schedule. Charlotte the hygienist gave excellent advice, and also left me with a brighter whiter smile. Thank you to the whole team.”

“What a phenomenally amazing experience I have had with Mr C Dixon. I have been in the dentist for many years and have always been treated with the upmost respect. I was so paranoid about my crossed over front teeth, I talked with my hand over my mouth constantly. I opted to getting a brace at 34. Aprehensive at first- the support and encouragement that Craig gave to me on each visit was absolutly amazing. The 9 months flew by and I couldn’t be happier. Thr results speak for themselves, its given me confidence and less anxiety. He doesnt try to upsell, Craig is honestly the best dentist I’ve ever known, hes down to earth, knowledgable, approachable and such a genuinely nice man. His diplomatic approach is second to none. He really is a true asset and brand advocate to the firm. I actually look forward to my check ups. The ladies on reception really make you smile too. A*”
