“Icon By Design makes the complex business of buying new furniture a pleasure. Their furniture is well designed and solidly made. The timber is excellent. Their website explains everything the prospective buyer needs to know. In addition, the staff are available promptly by phone or email, and ready and willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
Icon also offers different ways of visualising their furniture in one’s home: a service which I have found very helpful. They can even incorporate one’s existing items, paintings and ceramics into their 3D imaging.
Prices are reasonable. The items I have bought, or seen in other people’s homes, have always exceeded my expectations.

They go perfectly with the king sized bed we also bought. It has a small shelf all the way around the bed. It is the perfect place for our phone/watch/airpod chargers to sit, snuggled next to the tallboys.

When I first moved into my city apartment I fell trapped to the cheaper options (FF) and within two years the table was squeaking and chair material was wasting away. Needing replacement pronto, I found Icon By Design and ordered the Solid Oak Hilda Dining Table and Astrid Dining Chairs in Sage Green. And Oh. My. Word. what a combo they are! 🤩 I was hesitant about ordering online because I am a person who needs to FEEL things however living in Brisbane that wasn't possible...But, this was the easiest shopping experience ever - from the customer support team who walked me through which table and chairs to get via the phone (and then encouraged me to use their VR feature to see the set in my home!), the text messages updating me every step of the delivery, to the white glove delivery team who constructed the table in under 20 minutes (and took the cardboard boxes with them!!). I'm so happy with my purchase, I'm obsessed with the Scandinavian Design, and the table is the perfect fit in my smaller apartment.
