“Iconic Book published took $3,500 from me to publish my book. I was to get hard copies ,a website, an ebook, copyright ,marketing and advertising. First Adam Benson tried to publish my book in his name, him being the one to receive royalties. Then I got notified from both my bank and Amazon that someone was trying access my accounts from Mumbai India! I confronted Adam through text message accusing him of being a crook. His reply: “Yeah , a crook who has your money, haha.”
Of course I’ve received no books or website. These is a criminal enterprise and needs to be stopped.”

They first mauled the manuscript with their AI then published it online on Adam Benson’s (my “case worker “) personal Kindle Direct Publishing account!And they published it under someone else’s name (not mine) listed as author. Then my case worker, Adam Benson ghosted me. They essentially stole my book! I finally got in touch with someone else and they put the book under my account with my name listed as author. However, I still have not received any of the hard copies promised in the contract. I got a hold of some one at Iconic the call “Compliance Officer .” His name is Samual Marin. He agreed to refund me half my money and transferred me to the “Financial Officer,” Don McLean .This person never answered the phone and never returned my call after having left a detailed message. I called several times to get back in touch with the “Compliance Officer “ but he never answered the phone or returned the call. They are playing a shell game that is well rehearsed leaving me with little recourse. These are professional scammers and need to be held accountable!”

And they hire people who are supposed to edit and format your book, and they actually do nothing. They just take your money and then they try to extort more money from you if you pay to have books. Printed, you never get them. They are under investigation by the state attorney's office in Texas. Beware of angelique davis, who is a liar and a wannabe lawyer and don mclean, who will try to extort money from you.”

Lied to me and tried to extort money out of me. The ebook is distorted and unreadable. They did not really edit anything in my book.”
