“The worst online shopping experience I've ever had! Placed an order via guest checkout, they’ve taken my money and no item has arrived. They have no knowledge of my order even after providing all the information they asked for and sending a screenshot of the paypal transaction! Absolutely useless and completely unhelpful. I’ve been emailing them daily and getting nowhere. Going down the paypal route to try and get my money back. They don't even deserve 1 star.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!”

“It,s an insult to even give one star but only way to send this. Just spent over 2 weeks with emails and phone calls to this outfit persuading them that I had not ordered numerous items delivered to me . Wasn't believed at first in spite of fact that confirmed payment card details used were not mine. Contacting them absolute nightMike Bonathanmare by phone or email, no one taking reasposibity and ended up with phone charges of almost £15 just to finally convince them that numerous orders were nothing to do with me. My advice keep well away.”

“Never never order again from this company been waiting for my delivery 3 weeks phone done chat emailed the lot . you're Parcels will be with you in 2 working days nothing again will be with you in 2 working days nothing again now its wait 5/7 working days what a joke .”

“Now over a fortnight since I placed an order and payment was taken. Have contacted customer service several times but all they say is there is a logistics issue. No information as to what or when it will be resolved. Absolutely dire customer service.”

“Placed an order on the 4th April. Payment including postage and packing charge was taken but to date over a week later nothing has been dispatched and customer service are unable to advise what the delay is or when it will be resolved. I can ring a national rate number to claim a refund but no idea how long it will take and judging from the service thus far it is likely to cost several pounds to get my money back. Disgusting lack of customer service.”

“Absolutely disgusting service and would never use this company again. Half of the order has arrived but told it has all arrived then can’t get through to anybody to chase item. Distressed angry and upset is an understatement. ADVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!”

“What a bunch of complete arseholes. Order placed, money taken then put back in account. In the meantime they send letter to show this. Never arrives and when you contact them they say that I had canceled it. NOT TRUE. Why would I chase up my orderif I canceled it. LAST EVER DEALINGS WITH THIS BUNCH OF WASTERS”

“Would be five stars for the product but the container triggers are rubbish Williams wash and wax the product in the bottle is superb, but over the last year or so the triggers on the bottles have become cheaper and cheaper now your lucky if they work for 2 minutes. This spoils a great product”

“I bought a watch from Ideal World I was told it would be with me in 3-4 days I got a email from them 4 days later saying it had been despatched, 2 days later I had to ring them to find out where it was and was told it would take a further 2-3 days and was given a tracking number, I have been on Hermes racking app and the number was invalid, I have been emailing them today telling them I want my watch and got message back saying it was on its way but could take another 4-5 days and was given another tracking number different from the first 1, I have been on the Hermes tracking app number is fine but they haven't got my watch yet they still waiting for it to be delivered to them from Ideal world but I had an email from Ideal world saying it was on its way. I will never ever use Ideal world or should it be unideal world again and would highly recommend avoiding them at all costs. I have told them I am going to take legal advice about this and I am going to report them to trading standards”

“Disgusting customer service, staff working from scripts with no authority whatsoever to help or have a thought that may not be written in their manual. Ordered a Steven Brown picture on 27/02/2021 for a 40th bithday present at the end of March. They or Hermes lost the picture. The e-mail said was depatched on 15/03/2021 but it then vanished. I reported this and nobody would help as the neccesary time (10 days) had not lapsed. I sent 20 e-mails , called customer services (a joke) and also called Steven Brown direct to tell them what a shambles Ideal World was that was advertising his brand. It is now 24/03/2021, i was told i would receive tracking info by 22/03/2021, this did not happen. I have had about 5 staff at ideal world telling me consistently that they cant rush the process, cant check with the supplier, cant contact the courier. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM. PROBABLY TO TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT THEY CANT DO ANYTHING!!! The birthday is on 247/03/2021 and it looks like the present wont be here. I would be easy to put it down to a one off but Hermes and ideal World lost 2 mattresses about 2 years ago and i went through the same hell. DONT buy through ideal world, call the supplier direct, pay a bit more but have a positive experience. I have learnt my lesson aftert 2 terrible experiences. It will not get to a 3rd.”

“I ordered the Dormeo mattress on flexi pay, but they took the whole amount, almost £300 out in one go !!! when l contacted them, they apologised and said l could cancel and re-order, but the cancelling process was such a hassle that l had to leave it as it was. I would of loved to tell them where to put mattress, bit it was a gift for my son. Last time l will ever shop with IW.”

“IGNORE SIMPLER LAW AD SCAM....PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT THEY DO NOT ANSWER PHONE/LETTERS(SENT REGISTERED + DEFINITELY DELIVERED)/EMAILS. DON'T FALL FOR FLEXI PAYMENT, THEY TOOK 1ST PAYMENT THEN CANCELLED OUR 1ST TELEPHONE APPT!!! BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT THEM FOR 3 MONTHS!!! TOOK 2ND NOW 3RD PAYMENT, LUCKILY HAD CONTACTED BARCLAYCARD WHO HAVE RETRIEVED 2ND PAYMENT BUT NOW GOING TO HAVE TO ENSURE 3RD PAYMENT GETS CREDITED. AVOID AVOID AVOID HAD TO GIVE 1 STAR JUST TO POST REVIEW!!!”

“I bought garden compost in February 2021 and when it arrived found it's not the same quality as I previously purchase. It was more 80% wood fibre, grey in colour, The quality had being reduced. Ideal World just return my money and said keet the goods , but it's is no use for my garden plants, so I must dispose of it my self.”

“Miss selling superdeal card..I was contacted by a rep saying..you've just made a purchase so we'd like to give you a £5 voucher..me:thank you very much..then--also you'll get a super card to save you £££ when shopping,the caller constayspoke from a script over my questions,informed me a pack would arrive with a 14 day cancellation policy..as soon as she said ..£99 will be taken from your acc,I said no, how do I cancel..this is where it gets interesting!..as soon as your told you will be sent a pack they take £2:99 off your card..yes they access the card you've previously bout with..then you don't opt into the scheme they do this automatically for you.. YOU have to opt out..not by email but by a premium rate number !..really dubious selling and I fear many will be bamboozled by the sales call..”

“IDEAL WORLD DEFINITELY IS THE WRONG NAME!!! I have bought cordless hoover which hardly met my expectations. The battery lasted 5 minutes and if one tried to hover on economy mode suction was not existing. This was not the case on their broadcasted TV show, which showed perfectly working hoover cleaning a rug for two minutes …Ideal Con! I have returned it with huge confidence that the recommended courier by the Ideal World for which I had to pay will deliver the item back to them. The item was lost in the transit, courier said that I should be contacting Ideal World as they have arrangement with them regarding such an events. I have written numerous emails, none of them has been responded by Ideal World customer services. The only time I was able to talk to them was using their PREMIUM NUMBER and after 10 minutes waiting on the line, I was told that everything will be resolved and refund will be issued. After 6 weeks since I sent the item back, nothing has been resolved and emails still not answered. Perhaps Ideal World making money from the premium line calls...? I will never trust them again. I have learned the my lesson!!”
