I’ve been using I Hate Ironing for almost a year, and I’m always so impressed with my experience. My items are picked up usually within an hour of placing a request and returned 24 hours later, nicely pressed and folded. So convenient!

Ive used this service for a while. 6 months ago I write a really good review. Since then things have declined rapidly The last 4 or 5 delivery times have been changed, today's excuse is because ' The Operations Manager has confirmed that we require some additional time to process your polo shirt and shirt due to the nature of the items.' My items are cotton shirts and trousers-the new scheduled delivery time is mid morning when i am at work. I book evening slots because I work This has happened too many times now, I wont be using again, and there are cheaper services out there too

We ordered IHI services in London in September. Everything was dry cleaned as requested, and returned in the perfect condition. We ordered IHI services again in Edinburgh in January. In the order, I have specifically requested to dry clean all the clothing and wash & press only bedding. On the 4th of January, I received a note from IHI that there's a risk associated with white hoodies. Since I knew I requested dry cleaning, and hoodies were cleaned perfectly last time in London, I gave a green light. On the 6th of January, despite my request to dry clean my clothing, I received an invoice which stated that my clothing was 'Washed & Pressed'. This is the service I eventually paid for, although I requested Dry Cleaning. I have immediately raised my concern with the team, and received a response that the invoice may be wrong, and items will be treated with all proper care and at the highest standard. On the same day, I received an email that my items will be delayed, which listed items that were not mine (i.e. gown dress and bath mat). On Monday, I received my items back, and it became obvious they were just put in a washing machine. They changed their shape, became longer. Two hoodies were essentially destroyed - white soft hoodies became grey, worn out, with big black stains, stains of grey water, with dirt where there was no dirt before (i.e. on the hood). They changed their shape. It is not clear to me how the team decided to return them at all in this condition with no apologies and no note. I sent a complaint in the morning to get a refund. It's 4:30 pm and no response. I called them, and the support manager told that I will need to send items I am not satisfied with back, so they try to 'fix' them, and if no luck, they see there's nothing they can do, they will consider making a reimbursement. According to IHI, the whole process will take 7 days or so. This is a sad, sad experience.

They have lost my laundry and jackets are ruined . Will never used it again and won’t recommend anyone to use it

I love ihateironing! I’ve used their services several times for both linen/throws and regular laundry and it’s been the best thing ever. Recently I shared their info with friends and recommended they treat themselves to a someone else taking care of their laundry. Their customer service team is also very responsive and friendly.

They've lost dry cleaning in the past on me, returned the wrong clothes to me, then most recently lost all my clothing, which is over 5k value worth of wash and fold. I should've stoped using them sooner, but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. I strongly recommend you avoid them at all costs and find a different provider!

Absolutely disappointed with the service received from Ihateironing. First time using this service where they returned stained white jacket (on the pictures), 2 white shirt not properly ironed! This is shocking. They have charged me £32 for this service! I'm extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this service again!

I have been extremely upset about the mix-up of items and as a result a high invoice. I also am upset at the poor quality of the cleaning. My two jackets came back with the same stains. The trousers were poorly ironed. All in all a very disappointing experience. I would recommend not using 'ihateironing' for dry cleaning services.

They misdelivered items, there have often been missing items and items not properly handled. They also randomly invoiced me after not using the company for months.

I hate ironing - I received no compensation for I hate ironing ruining our brand new white towels that were returned completely stained after sending in for a simple wash and dry. Photos attached here. Do not use this company.

My 5 new white towels from the white company were sent in for a wash and dry. They came back completely stained brown. They have since asked for them back to review and have not returned them despite my numerous calls to try to contact them. They have refused any compensation for the towels and instead lifted the £20 fee I was to pay. Each towel cost a lot more than that. I continue to be unable to get through to their customer service and have a family of 6 at home with no towels! Appalling service. Do not use them.

This was a good company 12-18 months ago. Unfortunately it has just gone down the gutter in terms of quality, reliability and customer service. Company is clearly losing money and cutting costs. I have been using them since late-2020, but after one too many let downs I am cutting the cord and never using them again.

Sent a pair of curtains to be dry cleaned, they came back shrunk (6 / 7 cm), hooks were missing and lining ripped. They collected the curtains to assess the damage, they came back a week later, looking worse than the first time. So far no response from IHI. Great app, poor execution. It seems more customers have fallen foul of IHI, after the large bill, I will eagerly spend some more money taking these clowns to court for the damage on our high end curtains!

You would think a company that markets itself on convenience, would be concerned about getting it right & having a semblance of customer service etiquette. No such luck! I tried to attach all 22 screenshots of the interactions & pictures of the full extent of the damage as it needs to be seen to be believed! Unfortunately could only attach 3 before submit button would disappear. I put in 2 coats that were fairly new 4 & 6 months and barely worn. It was for the same day service & they were certainly prompt. Upon inspection, both coats were completely damaged! Imagine someone taking a steel scorer to your fine wool coats, scratching, causing bobbling whilst also clearly causing a singe & also completely somehow scraping & bleaching the enamel off the buttons (which seems to have also been applied to the blue coat) whilst also not really cleaning one of the coats which comes back with the same staining and hairs that clearly do not belong to you! When I contacted them that very night of delivery & the next morning, they claimed they needed to investigate the claims & came to pick up the coats. Despite query, it couldn't be explained what would happen after investigation should the claims be found true nor what the investigation would entail. Eventually without a word, my coats were returned with zero difference and I had to contact I hate ironing to find out what was happening after no contact or explanation. The response? Our cleaning manager says it they were cleaned to instruction. That was it! Completely! This btw was over several weeks! Then a refund of the clean was offered as final contact. This company is terrible! I still have the coats on the hanger & in the plastic cover sent. They will never be worn again and I lost time, energy & the cost of 2 ruined coats @ a total of £175! I would Believe Every Bad Review you see! Only 1 star as you can't score lower!

Failed to collect my order twice in a row, first time they actually told me ( albeit last minute) however the second time they didn’t say anything until I asked at 8.30pm. They must have known before that time they wouldn’t be able to pick it up but the made me rush home and wait in only to not turn up. It then meant I had to rush around looking for a dry cleaners that was able to clean it for the next day as I hate ironing made to lose an entire day.

I've had a few good services but like any business the test is when something goes wrong and ihateironing have failed miserably. 2 shirts lost on Wed and still not resolved Fri. The support team and management are completely unresponsive and the local agent incapable of finding the items. Will never use again.
