“Although I can’t say I doesn’t help a little with the noise, it’s open slightly on two corners at the top. I am assuming this is a common problem, as there was a corner separation section, (how to repair) far from award winning product as described. Probably a fluke that got by quality control or dropped in shipping. Works for the most part. See Andrew Palmdale or Daniel Steele emails via Richard Blakeman.”

Hi, Richard. Thank you for reaching out. These corners on your two inserts certainly are not standard and should be addressed. Your damaged inserts were brought to our attention at the end of December and we reached out to you to discuss repair and/or replacement inserts. We do provide a guide as it is possible to damage the insert if dropped on a corner, or in transit. If a simple fix is possible, then it is typically easier for our customers to do so than to be troubled with a new shipment. Andrew reported that you were not 100% satisfied with the repair, but did not want a replacement. Please let us know if you reconsider so we can get this problem resolved quickly and effectively and bring quiet and comfort to your home.

“We live in a Double Wide Mobile home in THE DESERT! It can get both COLD in the winter and HOT in the summer. The windows have proven to maintain a temperature gradient from the ambient outdoor temperature of approximately 20 degrees both hot and cold. Insulating a mobile home is difficult, but the Indow Windows have helped considerably.”

“Our old 1904 craftsman home suffered from loss of energy and cold temperatures around our windows every winter, as well as some city noise intrusion. We have had the Indow windows in place for 60 days now and couldn't be more pleased. Today it snowed and had it been last year, we would have had very cold drafts around our bedroom and living room windows whereas today it doesn't feel drafty at all. The other noticeable difference is we don't hear cars drive by or pedestrian voices as much as we used to. When we think of the low cost of installing Indow versus paying 6x to replace the windows, this was a no brainer. We are looking forward to seeing less energy loss through the windows during a hot summer too when we want to keep the house cooler. Aesthetically, they are not even noticeable (we have had to take house guests all the way up to the window to help them see the inserts) and fit seamlessly inside our windows. The material used to mold the edges is flexible and did well with uneven/not perfectly straight frames. We couldn't be more pleased with the initial consult, the installation and how well they have worked for us. Great communication, realistic information given to us, and no hard sell.”

“Keeps the heat in great, was really easy to install but the "acoustic grade" does NOTHING in regards to outside noise. It doesn't seem as thick as the acoustic sample sent with the measuring kit, either. Reached out to the guy who helped with the measurements but never received a response. The only reason I'd suggest these to anybody is if insulation is their only concern.”

“The product is a truly great one. It protects against the noise and cold that my house has been battling with our single-pane windows since day one. They are a great, much cheaper solution to insulating my windows. My largest complaint, however, would be the process of receiving the Indows. I ordered 9, and they all came in one giant box, making it difficult for the UPS delivery service to be able to actually deliver them to my door (seeing that I live in a place with no driveway and a few steps to get into the commons area where my front door is). The issue with delivery is not entirely Indow's fault, however. The UPS people were rude, unhelpful, and just about useless to providing any solution to the problem. They have extremely limited delivery times (all of which I am not home during) and only have the one driver to deliver these freight packages. The support service got snappy with me when I was trying work with them to find a solution to get this package delivered to my house, saying that it isn't their job to deliver the package to your front door, "as long as we get it off our truck, our job is done". If I were Indow, I would look into other delivery services because UPS provided the worst service I've ever encountered. In my opinion, it severely damages the reputation of Indows and holds back this otherwise amazing company.”

“Our window insert has been a sound GAME CHANGER. There’s a very significant decrease in outside sound reaching us inside the particular room that we have installed the Indow. Since reducing the annoying sounds of our neighbor’s dog incessantly barking was the reason we purchased Indow, we’re extremely satisfied.”

“Innovative solution to updating older windows, short of replacing them. Exterior (usually aluminum!) storm windows would have spoiled the look of my vintage home. Indow inserts are the perfect solution. Thanks.”

“The clarity and design were better than I expected. However they were difficult to insert at first especially in the corners. maybe develop an indow horn like a shoe horn that can help insert. Support was super. Thanks t”

“This window insert did what it was supposed to do and decreased the noise about fifty percent. I had my doubts, but I was pleasantly surprised at noise reduction. Also, I received good customer service. It was worth the money. WOW!”

“Fit, form and function is very good. Felt an immediate reduction in draft in the room. Will be ordering more soon. Had a bit of a fit issue in the top corners that took a few tries to get the wrinkles out. Still a few visible wrinkles. By the way the back gasket is cut out in the corners, it looks like you have been working on this issue.”

“I couldn't be happier with my purchase of two Indow's to alleviate drafty awning windows located at the staircase base of our 1910 home. The Indow's fit is precise and have entirely eliminated drafts making the space noticeably warmer. “Believe the inserts are a bit large not sure they fit properly but the packaging for return is too cumbersome and would not work to send back, so I will keep the inserts and attempt to use as is. Feel as if the noise may actually be amplified vs. reduced when the inserts are in use.”
