“I am not a very skilled do it yourselfer but I found the entire process in dealing with Indow to be extremely simple and I was able to measure, unpack and install without any issues at all-- I ordered the acrylic windows for sound and they are great-- a simple, inexpensive solution versus expensive alternatives.”

“I was very skeptical that the inserts would work well on my skylight. My skylight is in my bedroom and faces a busy street. The noise was very bothersome, especially at night when I was trying to sleep. I was very pleased that the Indow inserts significantly reduced the noise and I am now enjoying a much quieter sleep environment. So thank you for making this all possible. I also want to thank Jacob for his helpfulness. Daniel also helped a great deal to ensure my contractor was taking the measurements correctly. It took a few extra times to measure my skylight but the end result was that the inserts fit perfectly and that’s pretty hard to do with the skylight being on a 16 foot slanted ceiling. All in all I am extremely happy with the results.”

“I live in a condo in a city by a very busy highway with my bedroom windows facing the highway. The indow inserts did not help with the trucks and motorcycle sounds during the middle of the night, and moderately reduced the white noise of the regular traffic. The indow inserts did not make much difference for my windows living right next to the highway with inconsistent traffic throughout the night. My neighbor below went with the more expensive lamented glass, and had much more success with noise reduction.”

There are several factors that can affect the efficacy of your inserts, such as distance between the glass and the insert, type of noise you are dealing with, or frequency of the noise. “After building a soundproof bedroom wall the only remaining weak point was the windows. Installing Indow window inserts made a dramatic difference. We live by a very busy street and now only barely hear the biggest/noisiest trucks. It is so quiet that my wife has turned off the white noise generator.”

“We own a NC historic home with historic home windows!! Beautiful? Yes! Great at keeping out the heat and cold? Absolutely not!! We didn't want to add bulky, ugly exterior storm windows to our home so we began looking at the many interior insert options available. Read literature on options and contacted Indows and others for additional information. The Indows representative, James Werth, was the best, most professional and knowledgeable. Went with Indows 99.9% because of James and like he assured, we are 100% satisfied. No more heat/cooling loss and no unsightly exterior additions to our historic home. Thanks, James and thanks, Indows!”

“We had some historic windows that were problematic. Richard came and assisted us every step of the way. Our study is now cooler, and way less noisy. We got to keep our old windows, and create better energy efficiency and sound proofing. Great service. Thanks Joel + David”
