“Indow is a good idea but I don't think I am the ideal customer. I have a house from 1899 and wanted to increase energy efficiency without unsightly exterior storm windows. My windows are not square and the sill not uniform so the Indows really questionable if they will do any good. I have a decent seal but over time we will see if it lasts - Im not feeling good. The Indow shipping department is a mess. I got a 500 pound crate that was half full. No, literally 50% full at most! It took 2 hours to cut the "eco" crate down into something I could discard and I still have a double pallet to cut up. I think this irritated me more than anything. It would be an easy fix but they need someone with some engineering and logistics knowledge and that is obviously missing. This should hav been the easy part. The finished installation looks pretty bad unless you have curtains up to hide it and fortunately I do in most places. The corners bunch up and it looks really bad. The gasket is not white. It is like an aged white rubbery plastic and it just feels and looks like it will not last like I wanted it to. Spent $7000 on Indow and wish I had just bout unsightly storm windows.”

We package our inserts in a way that prevents damage during shipping--due to the nature of our inserts we want to ensure they are fully protected, and large orders can require large shipments. We've passed your photo to our operations and shipping departments to review the packaging. As soon as we can get photos of the fit issues you're describing we'll be able to address them. Normally a corner issue is easy to fix, but if it can't be corrected with a quick corner adjustment we'll be happy to correct the issue under our Snug Fit Guarantee. We'll also be mailing you one of the sample pieces we provided while you were measuring to make sure there wasn't a quality issue with the batch of tubing used for your order.

“I am so thrilled with my 6 Indow window inserts! Since I have been working from home, I have noticed so much noise outside from trucks to loud mufflers. I already had double pane windows but the noise level I still felt was high. Since installing the inserts, noise reduction has been incredible. My inserts arrived so well packaged and undamaged. We had a couple of hiccups with shipping but the customer service provided by Indow staff is outstanding! The inserts are crystal clear and asthetically you can't even tell they are there but accustically I absolutely know they are there!”

“The video conference to discuss my needs and the process was very helpful. The process worked without a hitch. The window inserts were easy to measure, to install, highly effective at reducing outside noise, and have not needed any adjustment. “I love the finished product and the absolute ease of installation. In the very hot Florida climate climate their performance has been outstanding. My AC cycles on and off, keeping my space at 72 degrees while it remains 92 to 100 degrees outside. My friends are equally amazed. I expect they will pay for themselves within two years. The only problem, as I previously told you, was with using the laser (a clumsy tool).”

“They are a bit difficult to install (YouTube videos are not true to actual size). They are helpful to keep heat/air in, but if it is traffic noise you are trying to block, these dont help as much. We live on a US 2 lane highway, and it has a lot of truck/traffic noise. Indow does not help much with this.”

“What an improvement to my quality of life these window inserts have provided! I ordered acoustic inserts for the bedrooms on the “noisy” side of the house and the regular inserts for another room that we use regularly on that side of the house. The noise difference was immediate and apparent in all of the rooms, particularly in the bedrooms. They were easy to install and are practically invisible inside the window frame. The measuring and ordering process was simple and intuitive, the customer service has been excellent, and I’m a very pleased Indow insert owner who can now sleep at night without a white noise machine by my head.”
