“We bought our Indow inserts to seal off the cold coming through our basement windows in the winter. The inserts fit very well and look nice, but since they were installed in April, it will be several months before we know how well they succeed in blocking the cold air. I'm optimistic.”

“Absolutely amazing! We can't believe how dramatic the difference is. We live next to a busy freeway and the indow windows have reduced the loud freeway noise to almost complete silence. I would recommend these to anyone. One consideration however: once you do one room, you may be tempted to want to buy them for every room in your whole house!”

“The Indow window are a great solution to having VERY large single pane windows that would cost a lot more to replace. They are absolutely clear, at least at the beginning. Fairly easy to install, but I learned a few tricks for our 6 foot by nearly 4 foot windows. Customer support was good and helpful. I do not understand why they are supposed to be removed "at least once a year." We got white edging which fit the décor perfectly. At the end of the review there is a request for pictures, but there is nothing to see.”

We recommend removal at least once a year as it allows you to inspect them, identify any potential issues with your windows over time, and ensure they are set square in the frame. “Windows inserts help block some vocal sounds, but we feel it’s not thick enough compared to the Indow acrylic samples from the laser measuring kit. The metal ring came off from the insert when we tried to remove it.”

“The inserts significantly reduced the noise for our bedroom. They were easy to install. The entire procedure from purchase to delivery was very easy. The only portion that I would change is the chain and pull on the window. We were actually nervous pulling on them when adjusting as they don't feel very sturdy.”

“We ordered our inserts during the Covid pandemic, so it took a few months to actually get the inserts produced due to labor and supply shortages. We ordered 32 inserts - some with white frames. some with brown frames, and seven with the Limited Edition Color frame. The inserts arrived in a single freight shipment, and the container was packaged securely. All the inserts fit perfectly. However, the seven Limited Edition Color inserts arrived in the standard brown frame. After contacting Indow about this issue, they quickly created a claims case to replace the incorrect inserts with the requested framing/tube color. These replacements aren't expected to be produced for 8 to 10 weeks, again due to the pandemic.”

“Inserts work well. The measurement process was a bit tedious. Delivery, especially for a condo owner in a multi-floor building was inconvenient. Drop shipped onto the sidewalk in the front of the building. No option for help in carting inserts to upper levels of the building. That said, the product appears to be well-made and works fine.”

“I waited months for them to arrive and the fit and the finish was perfect but they make almost no difference in the noise coming from my neighbors barking dogs. They only made a slight difference in the noise but not enough so I can sleep at night which is what I was so excited about when I ordered these. I paid $1000 for three of the best grade windows you have and they made little difference if any coming from these horribly annoying barking dogs. Extremely disappointed and I don’t know what to do next.”

“We are very pleased with our inserts, especially the noise reduction. Because the Indow inserts help with sound and blocks drafts we have been able to remove some blinds and curtains so our view of the outdoors is greatly improved. The measurement and installation process takes patience but not that hard. Overall the whole process was enjoyable.”

“Customer service and measuring process were professional but I am disappointed in the final product. Purchased for all front facing windows of my home and my daughter's room in the back of the house. I feel they have changed the quality of the sound but not the intensity...it is still as loud as prior to inserts. I don't know if I will even keep them on as it almost seems to be amplifying the vibrations of idling vehicles at the intersection just down from my house. It was a large cost to have incurred and don't think it was worth it for my home.”

“Love, Love, Love these indows! We are downtown facing a busy intersection with traffic, sirens, etc. The noise level is significantly reduced, making the acoustic inserts worth every penny. They were easy to install. The inconvenient part came with taking down the blinds and relocating them outward to accommodate the space for the indows. I knew to expect that in my conversations with sales prior to purchasing. My only complaint was by ordering 13, they were shipped together, and did not fit in our freight elevator. Seems the 450 pound order could have been separated to reduce weight and size. Had I known, I would made sure I had some helpers. Overall, there are no regrets. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing noise reduction! Great product!!”

“The service was great. The inserts have helped to reduce freeway and train whistle noise which are about a mile from our house, although I can still detect them but in a more muffled sound. I am very pleased with the results.”
