Impulse cpr is fantastic! My instructor, Michael Reeves, was very informative, engaging and made the experience very enjoyable. I’d highly recommend taking this class. It’s great for all ages.

The teacher kept the class very interesting which is hard to find anywhere else. I learned a lot from him. I will recommend his class to anyone 4 hrs doesn’t feel like 4 hrs.

The instructor was able to give me suggestions re how to complete tasks I was having trouble with because of arthritis. I liked the fact that we focused on practical clinical issues and that the class seemed more focused on actually doing your best CPR as opposed to leaving you fearful of even attempting CPR because you might not be perfect.

Liked everything about the class except the fact that you don’t offer CEU’s toward my nursing license. That’s a deal breaker for me and the only reason I won’t come back. 😕

Hello Mary, At one time, we were able to give CEUs. The American Heart Association stopped offering credits for the BLS certification a couple years back. They still offer them for more advanced classes like PALS and ACLS. If we could offer them we surely would. Unfortunately if you are in need of an AHA BLS certification for your healthcare job you won't find anyone who will offer you CEUs for the BLS class any longer.

The environment was clean, as were the materials. The instructor was friendly and made the learning environment constructive and the material easier to comprehend.

When I took this class was different than any class I took before. CPR instructor didn't come actually watch people test out. She sat in vary front of room whole time. And issued cards at end. Instructor never came watched as practice and give feedback if we were doing something wrong. I'd of Neve known that wasn't way supposed to be but recently took a instructor class. If they are a AHA class they need to retrain how to teach a class.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable and gave tips from life experiences. The class atmosphere was casual and laid back. The morning flew by quickly and I felt that I got to practice my skills as much as I needed.

This is the second or third time I've taken in an-person class to renew my CPR. I'm a nurse, and found the class interesting, informative, and definitely helpful. The information was covered in a clear way and the emphasis was on learning information that can save lives, not needless trivia. This class is better than those that were taught at my former employer (a large hospital). Would highly recommend. There was a mix of people in the class- respiratory therapists, nurses, students, etc. We all worked together and it felt collaborative and supportive. I took the class in Pennsylvania at a hotel.
