Our instructor Rob was very thorough in presenting the information. However, I felt that he acted more like an entertainer at times, than an instructor. Too many stories, many of which were not relevant. I appreciate his goal in "telling it like it is" but I've taken CPR many times, thankfully never had to use it, and received lots of contradictory information last night. I feel pretty prepared to help a family member or friend, but honestly, nothing he presented last night would encourage me to help a stranger.

The instructor and class were very informative, but a week after completion, I received an email with my certificate and card attached for the CPR/AED course but not the First Aid portion, which is a separate class taken directly after CPR/AED. We had a large group. There was not a confirmation nor a receipt for the First Aid class, that I must have. I called the local number and was then transferred to a dead end mailbox. I called back again and the same woman tried to send me back to the same mailbox. She didn't sound interested in anything but relaying me off to someone else, without listening to details. She said that she would relay the info to the person responsible for this action. I did not receive a call back. If I don't get this confirmation that I need, I will not be using your service again.

Hello Ryan, We apologize for any miscommunication or error on our part. You were part of a private group that did not pay the additional fee to receive the First aid card. They were given the option to purchase FA cards but declined. If you would like a certificate of attendance from us that shows the first aid curriculum and the hours attended I’d be happy to send you that. If you would like to purchase the First aid card you can use this link to pay https://inpulsecpr.com/paynow and when we see the payment we can issue you a FA card. Warren sent us a great review today. I’d be happy to speak to him regarding the FA card on your behalf if you like. I was unaware that you were not getting through to us. Please let me know how we can make this right for you.

I have yet to receive my completion certificate. Class was sufficient in recertifying but communication was lacking in what training we were to receive today.

The instructor Lisa did a great job teaching the material, however, time management of the course was poorly done. The test was not administered until just a few minutes until the end of class time. It would have been nice if it was administered earlier. Do not advertise the class as 4 hours if the test is given at the end and may end up taking 4.5 hours, that was very misleading and impacts the rest of our days and busy schedules.

I have had CPR class in the past so this was a refresher for me. If I wasn't already familiar with the process I think this class would have left me with unanswered questions. The order of the training seemed reversed. She started by teaching compressions and then moving on to when to do them. It may be better to start by explaining what CPR is and when it should be done, then moving on to compressions. Sofia is very nice but she may benefit from some sensitivity training. The general statements made about weight, size, and sex, are biased. There was a member of our class constantly singled out for her size during training. Multiple statements about 300 pound people being large and requiring different methods. There is a certain way to deliver information that wouldn't be hurtful. We need to do better as humans

Your card was issued on 6.16.23 and remains unclaimed on the American Heart website. We have resent the email from AHA to claim your card. Pease check your email for ecards.heart.org not from In-Pulse CPR. If you don’t receive it you can go directly to the AHA website ecards.heart.org/student/myecards

The overall class was pretty decent. Some parts could have used more depth and instruction. The section about choking and the exceptions for someone in a wheelchair or a pregnant woman could have been gone over in more depth. Specifically, techniques for how to use your hands and placement etc. would be helpful. I would also recommend having slides that pair with the handout so people can follow along as the answers are said aloud. I would also look into the handout and the organization of it. It was a bit out of order when it moved from choking to CPR.

All the material was covered well and we all had a chance to practice and test on the equipment that was provided.

This was a review for most of us. I traveled almost 2 hrs for the class and the instructor actually used up the full 4 hrs for the class so this was 4 hrs in the road and 4 hrs for CPR class. Very frustrated.

Good information. Need more time with hands-on with choking baby or adult. Also more time with CPR on baby or adult, also without using the air-pump for mouth. Test of multiple choice is too much trick questions and too much to choose from. Multiple Choice is a pain.

4-hour class seemed way too long for the class- the instructor was very nice but had to talk about her personal life to extend the class by 4 hours. I have been an RN for 20 years ( BLS q 2 years) and this was the longest one yet. I will not partake in In- Pulse again due to this.

Videos had no captions. Instructor spoke too fast, made it hard for me to watch ASL interpreters and take notes. However, instructor provided additional assistance when I asked for help without questions.

The instructor was knowledgeable but went over the material fast. The workbook only had some facts listed. We were supposed to fill in the blanks, but I missed some of the answers, which effected my test. It would have been better if he had written the answers on a board. I also would have liked to practice helping an adult who was choking. The film about the young mother having a “heart attack” was weird. Her husband should’ve stayed with her. And the children could have helped her call 911.

Your card was issued on 10.11.21 two days after your class and still remains unclaimed by you. A simple phone call back in October could have resolved this issue. We have resent the email wih the link to claim your card or you can go directly to this website ecards.heart.org/student/myecards
