For the past few years we have been sending our clothes to Insect Shield to be treated with permethrin. We are very pleased with the quick service and we have not found a tick on us since wearing our treated clothing while working outside.

I have a tee shirt, long sleeve shirt , socks, and pants that are about 4 years old. I only wear them two days a month when I teach a bushcraft class in the woods. Have never had a problem with ticks! I put them in the drier for a few minutes afterwards just in case. They seem to have worked just fine. I would recommend them.

I have Alpha Gal from a tick bite. I got insect shield socks, jeans and shirts for when I am out in the country. Four years and so far I have not had a tick on me. Great product, no smell.

I am thrilled with all the clothing I have purchased from Insect Shield. They are all extremely well made, and comfortable. I particularly love the light weight clothing. They don't make you hot and sticky during high temperatures and humidity. I love, love, love the socks which I wear everytime I work outside. Since I have been wearing the insect shield clothing I have not had one tick bite and I live in CT where ticks are very common. I've even waded into tall grass working in my meadow and have been protected.

It keeps the ticks off of us. My wife and I volunteer in state parks on the California coast and we are on our second set of work/volunteer clothes that we have had treated by Insect Shield. In the four years of maintaining trails, invasive plant eradication and whatever else we are asked to do, we have yet to find a tick on us. The same cannot be said by our fellow volunteers and state park employees that we work with. For us, treating our clothes with Insect Shield really works keeping the ticks at bay.

The clothing is outstanding. My entire wardrobe while out in the woods bird watching is the socks, pants, shirt and quarter zip from Insect Shield. Also love the spray! Have recommended to many others.

The selection of clothing that really does repel ticks and chiggers is good but Insect Shield should add a selection of light weight, fast-drying long sleeve shirts and long pants for use in the tropics, where it's hot and rainy.

I love the ability to throw on my “armor” and walk, and hike and work and rn outside in the woods without worrying too much about ticks and such.

This is the best way to avoid insect borne diseases if you travel, as we do, to tropical areas.

Absolutely love these products and the service. When I spend a day outside in the field, walking through overgrown trails and brush, I don't worry as much as I used to about ticks. I have also not found any ticks crawling on me or attached after checking at the end of the day. I wear the insect shield lightweight longsleeved shirt over the tech tshirt and leggings, as well as deet soaked gaiters and boots. Definitely recommend.

We buy the dog shirts and by layering we've been able to keep most the ticks away. We have a horrible tick population here so any amount of reduction is great. We also use metal tick tags and wondercide spray. There are topical and ingestable tick prevention but they don't work well on ticks either and have caused a ton of health problems in our dogs and others I know. I will continuing using the dog shirts. One piece of advice, is the shirt scoots down on our big dog so I make a small hole in the material on the top beneath the tag and string her collar through the hole, it holds the shirt in place much better.

I own the socks, pants, t-shirts, and shirts, and would not go outdoors without them! They are very effective at repelling ticks, chiggers, and mosquitoes. I constantly recommend them to my friends!

Our organization's main reason for opting to offer the Insect Shield treatment to employees was to prevent tick bites and subsequest Lyme disase. We began using Insect Shield treatment in 2021 and since then not a single employee wearing a treated uniform has reported an embeeded tick.
