“I garden, I work in the woods, and since wearing Insect Shield clothing--socks, trousers, and shirts--I have not had a single tick bite in 9 years. The treated clothing also protects me from chiggers, flies, and mosquitos. Insect Shield provides a great product.”

“I've worn Insect Shield clothing in the garden for several years. In that time, it has provided excellent protection against mosquitoes and ticks. I will say that I did have a tick crawling on a pair of Insect Shield pants one time that did not seem perturbed by the Insect Shield treatment -- but perhaps it would have been incapacitated from biting me if I had not removed it and sprayed it with a pesticide? I didn't wait to find out. Generally, however, I find that Insect Shield + picaridin-based insect repellent gives very good protection from biting insects.”

“I use Insect Shield products I've purchased nearly every day from March to November. I haven't had a tick bite in six years! The best part is that I can enjoy the outdoors here in New Hampshire without an inordinate fear of Lyme Disease. I'm very careful but I have an edge with Insect Shield. Everyone who works or enjoys the outdoors where ticks are present should investigate these products!”

“We've used insect shield clothing for several years now and generally find it to provide good protection against ticks. I've actually found dead ticks stuck to my insect shield socks. We definitely prefer permethrin treated clothing to using feet.”

“I live in Knox county maine, high tick area. I am a gardener, I wear overalls that have been treated and have not had a tick on me when I do. Just last week I was out in some grass with out my suit on, 5 ticks crawling on me.I really trust that when wearing my treated suit I have protected my self the best I can. Thanks”

“The socks I've purchased are holding up well. Several times over the past few years I've sent work clothes to be treated--the turn around time has always been good. While I will continue to send garments in for treating from time-to-time, it is a bit expensive. This is the reason Insect Shield has been given a 4-star, rather than a 5-star rating.”

“Your merchandise is excellent and so important. We've been wishing and hoping that you would carry/sell knee-high socks for children and for adults. We could be even more protected with full length, treated knee-high socks. Pants could be even more firmly tucked into them for protection.”

“I like the Insect Shield Product I limit my purchases because the branding is to large on the items. The green shield w/ white cross is acceptable but not the large wording.”
