“ITA is a great investment for your future! The instructor team is highly qualified and knowledgeable, and the support staff is always available to answer questions and provide information. The course is challenging and full of valuable lessons and tools to prepare any future teacher, and the alumni community is top notch, providing many opportunities for networking. I am so satisfied with ITA and would 100% recommend it for anyone interested in getting their TEFL certification.”

“ITA is an excellent instructional program! I lived overseas for years, and "taught" English informally, but ITA's course provided the intellectual big picture and professional guidance to learn the details needed to TEACH for RESULTS. Case in point, I'm teaching part-time now, in person, and loving every minute of it!”

“Completing the TEFL course and Practicum has revitalized my confidence in teaching and tutoring, not only adult learners but young learners as well. In my previous experience (early last decade) online tutoring/ teaching was in its natal stages, since it’s been fully functional, I’ve been worried that the new teaching technologies had outpaced me. After completing the TEFL course, I am confident and excited to participate in this new era of technologically advanced teaching, tutoring and learning. So much so, that I recently interviewed for an EFL teaching position at Three universities in Paris, France and was hired the day of each interview.”

“The International TEFL Academy offers accredited courses, and I chose the 11-week online course - it's an ideal option for those that are in employment and need to manage their time carefully. The 120-hour course exceeds the minimum standard for accreditation and is Internationally recognized by employers. I found the course to be interactive, engaging, and very well structured; throughout the course, there was clear guidance provided by the instructor, as well as regular, constructive feedback. The assignments, coursework, tests, and peer interaction provided plenty of opportunities to practice new skills acquired during the course. The wealth of information available on the International TEFL Academy website is extremely valuable, and lifetime job search assistance is offered on completion of a course.”

“I signed up for the TEFL certification class with the International Tefl Academy with a plan to get a semi-retirement teaching position in Guatemala after twenty-five years in another field. I was the oldest person in my class and a little nervous about how not only the class but getting a job in Guatemala would go. After four years here I have taught in two nonprofit schools and one private school in three different cities. I have always felt well prepared and have always been well received as a TEFL-certified teacher. The preparation I received from ITA and the positive experience it allowed me to start with, have helped me continue to learn and I am now opening a school of my own. I could not be happier with my experience with ITA. I would also like to make myself available to anyone interested in coming to teach in Guatemala. Despite what you read in the news, Guatemala is a wonderful country filled with happy, friendly people. There is a huge demand for English teachers supported by a growing middle class. “ITFA is a solid and reputable company that provides you with the tools you need to teach ESL. I did my TEFL in 2015 and I can say I was pretty satisfied with the way the course was structured and delivered. I had already started teaching way back in 2000, but I needed to validate my teaching experience with certification. It brings theory and hands-on practice during the training. For this. I highly recommend ITFA for anyone who wants to pursue a teaching career in ESL as a profession.”
