“This school was everything as advertised! It was a great experience and provided needed knowledge to be a successful English teacher. Along with the full learning experience the teachers (Melanie and Luke) were engaging and were focused on challenging their students.”

“During my course at ITA, I learned how to manage classrooms. Whether it is online or in-person, after 6 years of finishing my TEFL course I am still connected with ITA and they give me job guidance. Thanks to the certificate and ITA staff help, I wouldn't be where I am today. My current job is English coordinator at CESA Business School.”

“I am a full-time writer/editor, and I thought that a TEFL certification combined with my background and earlier volunteer experience as an English tutor would form a good foundation for a retirement plan in a couple of years. I completed the online TEFL program in 2020 and volunteered virtually for 8 months for a grassroots organization. I then added two ITA specialty courses to my tutoring toolbox, Teaching Business English and Teaching English Online, and recently signed up for the new ITA Tutoring English course. I'm now one step closer to retirement and am looking forward to starting an online tutoring business, thanks to the great education and resources I continue to obtain through the International TEFL Academy!”

“I completed my ITA certification while in a full time job - I highly appreciated the ability to complete the coursework online at my own pace (there are deadlines but not any timed meetings I had to participate in). The training was engaging and I believe prepared me well for the theories of lesson planning and practical application. I loved it!!”

“I am so glad I chose to obtain my TEFL certification through International TEFL Academy. ITA provides so many helpful services, and all the staff are incredibly helpful and quick to answer any questions and requests via email. My instructor was knowledgeable, and all assignment feedback was clear and constructive. Overall I feel very prepared for my career as a TEFL teacher!”

“I completed the intensive online course and was very satisfied. The curriculum is based on research and best practices which gave me confidence in the quality of the training. My instructor was very responsive and, in fact, gave me advice as I applied for my first TEFL job during our course. The assignments do require substantial work as they should for this qualification. I highly recommend ITA for TEFL training, and based on my research they are highly regarded by English schools around the world.”

“The International TEFL Academy has been a great partner and asset as I navigate my life teaching abroad. The curriculum and teachers helped prepare me for my teaching job in South Korea, and the Alumni Organization is extremely helpful in connecting me with other teachers. In addition, lifetime job assistance is a huge perk! My partner and I have been exploring moving to another country to teach English and our advisor has been extremely helpful. I highly recommend ITA to anyone interested in getting their certification to teach English abroad!”

“I feel like my course through ITA did a great job of setting me up to teach in the real world, and I'm really appreciative of all the learning experiences I had in the program. I've been working in China for 5 years now, and not only are most employers familiar with where my certification came from but I've also met countless other alumni while teaching here. The ESL market here is saturated in ITA alumni and I think that speaks really highly of ITA's TEFL certification program.”
