Got a Question?

is the 500k grand slam competition worth to participate if you arent an abosolute pro?
Asked by PirroBryson (1 week ago)
Well of course it is, you are seriously miscalculating the amount of pro traders, they are not that much. Its mostly consitts of usual traders which want to compete and improve, because the main idea of this tournament is to encourage contant improvement. If you still having doubts about entering, then dont go for the master tier, go for elite tier. You will spend less, and win less. But if you are sure in your skills, then master it is, if you win, you will be more than rewarded!

S IT POSSIBLE TO ACTUALLY GET BACK FUNDS LOST TO CRYPTOCURRENCY SCAM? ABSOLUTELY... Is there a way out for victims of scam? It took me months to find one. Let me briefly explain how. You see, most of these recovery websites put up fake remote addresses on their websites. I lost a lot of money so I was only looking for a recovery firm around me so I could confirm their office before releasing information to them. They had the most patient experts. They answered all my questions and I immediately knew I was going to work with them. 96 hours after I committed to them, I got what I lost back. What are the minimum deposit requirements for the most basic account type, I couldn’t find any information on their website?
Asked by Michael Cupido (2 months ago)
That would be the Standard account, I guess… but in the case of IronFx the account type does not change the initial deposit requirement, and I will explain why. First, you are right. There is no information about the initial deposit requirements and the payment methods accepted on its website. It's quite a strange decision to leave this essential information behind and make it available only after registering an account on the platform. Anyway, the answer you are looking for is $100. Regardless of the account type, the minimum deposit requirement is $100. Also, it is worth mentioning that IronFx offers a deposit bonus and it depends on the amount you deposit. In this case, you will get a 20% bonus to your equity. There is a 100% deposit bonus, but the initial depo requirement for this promotion is $200. If you want to use the power bonus promotion, you must deposit $500.

Which of the account types available in IronFX do you consider the most suitable for intraday trading?
Asked by Erin (2 months ago)
It is important to know that trading preferences, strategy, risk tolerance and capital largely determine the account type to use for intraday trading. However,I have found the stp/ecn zero account most suitable for this as it offers tight spreads, quick execution and transparent costs. New traders or preferred fixed cost traders will benefit more from trading with the standard/no commission account with fixed spreads.
Answered by KaceyJ (2 months ago)
Oh, that's an excellent question and I would love to share my opinion about it! As you can understand, they offer seven types of trading accounts to choose from and I can totally get what you mean by asking this question because even experienced traders can have a headache when it comes to choosing which account is the most suitable for them! In my opinion, “the STP/ECN No Commission” is the best account for intraday traders since you are going to open a lot of positions in one day and you better not pay commissions for opening and closing trades positions.
Answered by Thiago (1 month ago)
In my opinion, the most suitable account for Intraday trading using IronFX is the zero spread account particularly for those focused on scalping or short term trades and stp/ecn account for those who prioritize execution and transparency.

Have you read their materials about trading psychology? They have such a huge section about it. Did it help you in any way?
Asked by Rada Majush (5 months ago)
Yeah, buddy, I have read their psychological materials and there is so much valuable information you can find there and take into consideration. I think many traders overlook the importance of emotional trading, you should understand, it doesn’t matter how good you are at fundamental or technical analysis, without emotional stability you will not reach success in the trading area.
Answered by Nil Kwadabeq (4 months ago)
Yes, I have read. Also, they have great articles published on its various accounts, such as Quora, Medium and others. It’s good that the broker is trying to underline this important aspect that significantly contributes to success is trading. Reading and learning more about how our emotions affect our trading is beneficial. However, regardless of the amount of articles and educational resources you read on this topic, practice is most important here. Emotions can be tamed only by practice. Next time you trade, observe how you react to your winning trades and how you react to your losing trades. See what makes you change the level of your SL order, or what makes you delete the SL order that you have placed initially. This is how you will learn how emotions take over the control of your trading and try to stick to your trading plan.

Have you studied their VIP Trading Room or Trading educational school? Is it worth it?
Asked by Thys Loots (5 months ago)
Yes and yes... both are separate and are very helpful. The VIP rooms offer a lot of perks to help your trading, while the education materials... well, they are self explanatory and have a lot of depth to them.

What can you say about the relevance of quotes on this broker's platform? And what about liquidity?
Asked by Rodrigo Orellana (6 months ago)
Liquidity is great. The quotes, you can always check using other platforms or trading view, bloomberg, and others. The liquidity providers of the broker are just great... I have had no issues, so that is why I say that.

What was the most useful aspect of Ironfx trading education for ya?
Asked by A. Sarna (6 months ago)
The webinars, easy. I do not think that any other resource holds as much value as the webinars, and their archives. If you know nothing about trading, just consistently watch the things that experts do and in no time you will become LIKE and expert, not exactly and expert.... that takes time and experience.
Answered by Bahn Palathai (6 months ago)
I like their TA courses. Even the stuff they wrote in their forex blog was useful to me. They mostly write about MT4, but I think all of this also applies to cTrader and MT5. Even in their web trader app most of these indicators are present, and are absolutely no different. Crazy for me to think that many people don't use this basic stuff, basic TA, instead relying on instinct and previous price highs/lows. Even just charting Fibonacci retracement lines, profit margins could already rise 10-15%. But people just leave their gains on the table, just refusing to learn their TA.

Can you confirm to me that the fees do not multiply on IronFX and that there are no hidden fees?
Asked by NirinChalerm (7 months ago)
Idk how to convince you of this since this is a thing which you have to check on your own. Basically, brokers of such level don't have intends to encumber traders with different fees, commissions and so on, because it's a repelling thing. Since this broker has a very big fan base of traders and actually the number of daily active clients is very big, it strives to provide cost-effective trading conditions to let clients earn money and develop in this direction. Commissions exist only if you choose the acc with zero spreads and some comms, but they are very low compared to other platforms.

What strategy is the best for trading currency pairs when having a Premium account from IronFX?
Asked by Shahnon Hakam (8 months ago)
Absolutely any strategies you are comfortable trading with. There are many strategies out there, but if you are certain that they are profitable and effective enough, then you are free to use it.
Answered by Dadi Prayoga (8 months ago)
The premium account is a well-balanced account type, and its trading terms make it suitable for various trading strategies. There is no trading commission with this account, only spreads. So, it can be a good fit for short-term and long-term trading strategies. However, it is not an ECN account type, so if you want to scalp with this account, it is probably best to do with major FX pairs, where spreads are tight. For the other fx pairs, maybe it is better to keep your trades open a bit longer.

Is it really beneficial to be part of the VIP rooms or is it just a gimmick?
Asked by Siphokazi Venter (8 months ago)
In my opinion, their idea to create these VIP rooms is great! I can't say that many traders have the same opinion as me because I haven't talked to each of them :D But I can say that I'm getting bored of trading. Even though I make a profit from trading, sometimes I'm just too lazy to analyze markets. And thanks to this VIP room system, I feel like I have additional goals. And now one of my goals is to reach a high level here.
Answered by H. Hardiansyah (8 months ago)
Well, at the beginning I was skeptical about this option. But one day I was like why not to try? You see, I have already been a customer for a substantial period of time and the broker treated me quite well in terms of feedback, trading conditions and overall infrastructure. So I tried it.Well, I am glad I made that decision and tasted the VIP room. With this feature I got these: -Market forecasts. The broker offers market research whose quality is on par with instituional. - Chat with an analyst. Every forecast comes with a special discussion panel and you can aks analysts your qeustions! So, you basically get 1-to-1 personalised support from broker's award winning team of experts. Through the chats I got valuable insights on market developments and utilized it to my advantage. I suggest you to try it out, I believe you will thank me later! It is more than just beneficial.

What was the tightest spread you have seen on this platform and which asset was it for?
Asked by Frankie Dee Thay (10 months ago)
Man, I ain't remember seriously... I know for sure that I don't pay a lot of spreads and I see it according to my balance on the account. Perhaps, I managed to catch 0.3 pips, but it's very roughly speaking, I know that it was no more than 1 pip. It was a liquid pair... eur/usd or smth. In any case, I have an experience of trading different assets and for all spreads don't dilate much. I am focused more on fx majors so far, thus if you avoid high volatility, then spreads are favorable.

Is it better to have an Ironfx account with fixed spread or with floating spread?
Asked by P. Satwant (11 months ago)
This is a kind of question that can not be answered straightforwardly. Both spread types offer their own advantages, and it's beneficial that IronFx provides the option for clients to choose. Ultimately, it depends on your trading strategy. Floating spreads tend to be tighter, but they are highly influenced by the market volatility and trading hours. On the other hand, with fixed spreads, you are at peace, whenever you trade you know the spread. They are preferred by traders with strict risk management strategies.
Answered by Manoj (11 months ago)
Depends. Some traders prefer fixed spreads. These are mainly those who don't open and close many positions within a day, so-called positional or swing traders. Others stand for floating ones, it refers to scalpers or day traders. So, define your trading strategy and style first, only then make up your mind about which spread type is better. It's actually simple, and everything depends on your preferences.

STOP SCREAMING AND SHOUTING! Hahahaha, just kidding. Yeh, pal, I have tried their mobile platform simply cuz it was kinda nosy for me to test it out and evaluate the broker. You know, I have a kinda a short list of certain thigns a solid broker must have and there's a robust and optimized mobile platform in it. After trading for a while using their mobile solution, I just ticked in the box. Why I have this thing in the list? Sometimes I trade on the go, so it's quite a crucial criterion.

How do I use the trade copier tool on the platform?
Asked by Natal Fontes (1 year ago)
First of all, it’s not a tool, it’s a full-fledged platform made by Ironfx to facilitate the copy trading process. That's how I would describe it. To utilize it you just have to login into it either as a copier, or as a strategy provider. And the rest is just like on any other trading platform. I think if you trade yourself you will figure out.

Why Ironfx’s trading ACADEMY is so popular among the trading community?
Asked by Pramoj H (1 year ago)
This is a good question since the broker’s trading academy enjoys a really good reputation among traders. Why? First of all for the quality of the educational materials. They are written with an understandable vocabulary that even those without an economic or financial education background could easily understand. Second, the types of educational resources are vast, from ebooks to webinars, seminars and videos. Whatever your preferred way of learning is, you will have it with IronFx. Finally, there are resources for every level of experience. You can start from the basics of trading, but also you can sharpen your trading skills with subjects for more advanced traders.
Answered by FajarJaya (1 year ago)
I see no reasons for it not to be popular and hyped. Academy is all about education and important skills, even though some skeptical enthusiasts note that skills are all about practice. I assume that skills can be obtained in the theoretical form, too. Anyway, their academy is popular because of its versatility and comprehensiveness. It's a 100 in 1 solution, you dig? Courses, webinars, videos, e-books, glossary, and all these things are packed in one academy. For me that is the reason.
Answered by Zdeslav (1 year ago)
it is full of useful resources, you just need to take your time to go through and digest it, and i bet your overall level of knowledge will be improved and lifted, and this will project itself in your profits and portfolio P&L. knowledge is power

What would you say about the possible profitability in Commodities trading here, in terms of what you think about the cost of trading?
Asked by Ramon Campos (1 year ago)
I think the conditions here are quite favorable. I'll give you some proof: - Swaps for any commodity are 0. So by holding open positions for a long time, you won't make a loss. - The minimum contract size is 0.01. The step size is also 0.01, so you can flexibly adjust the size of your orders. The terms are quite favorable, as you can see. Considering all other broker instruments and services, this is an excellent offer.
Answered by Miguel Benito (1 year ago)
It depends when you are trading commodities that is the most important aspect. There is no big difference in trading costs but you are gonna have to think about the market cycle in order to trade commodities. When everything is okay people don't put much money there but when things go bad it is very hot. So if you take a look at charts you will notice what periods I refer to. Good profits!

What tool or feature of the broker do you think makes traders the most money?
Asked by Kevin Molina (1 year ago)
Without any doubt, it's the leverage option :P Leveraging allows traders to amplify their trading positions, potentially multiplying their profits. However, it's important to note that leverage can also magnify losses, requiring careful risk management and a solid trading strategy. So, while leverage can be a valuable tool, it's crucial to use it wisely and responsibly ;)

How can Market Buzz help traders save time and make better trading decisions?
Asked by Nanthit Temirak (1 year ago)
Oh, is that a feature from trading central? I examined it right after I joined this broker as it was super wondering for me to find out more about different functions here. Firstly, you are granted an instant direct access to the information about the assets you are interested in. You don't need to rummage a lot in tons of useless info. Secondly, I cherish this function for showing me trending topics where you can easily assess what's going to be hyped soon. Summing up, it indeed saves your time, otherwise there would be no sense for a broker to ensure this function and maintain its sustainability.
Answered by Aroon (1 year ago)
To be honest I have no idea what Market Buzz is. And if I have no idea then it’s not very useful in general, cuz all the tools that are in the Ironfx school are genuinely valuable for trading. Judging by the name Market Buzz is some sentiment tool to define the direction of the particular asset in the very moment in time. There are plenty of such tools out there and I don’t find them worthy of my attention.

What are the features of IronFX's trading platform, and how does it differ from the MT4?
Asked by Pramod Adulet (1 year ago)
First of all it can't be downloaded on the desktop, unlike the MT4 which is available for downloading on your computer. Ironfx platform can be used only via web application or mobile one. Secondly, of course the dashboard, icons location are also different, otherwise there is no sense to provide more than one trading paltform. All other features are pretty similar, all tools are available for technical analysis.
Answered by Nuur Shabani (1 year ago)
First of all, the Ironfx platform has only two versions: webtrader and mobile app. Whereas Metatraders have also a desktop version in addition to the two mentioned. Other then that I also know that the Ironfx webtrader somehow syncs with the MT4 platform so that you can trade on MT4 while using the Ironfx webtrader. Sounds a bit complicated but in practice it’s not that hard.
Answered by Nawfa bin Awaatif (1 year ago)
Yes this broker has several trading platforms. And every client of this company can choose the platform that suits him best. As you correctly pointed out in your question, apart from the MetaTrader platform, the broker has its own application which can be used to trade in the financial markets. The main advantage of this trading platform is that it can be used on a smartphone. That is, all trading activities can be performed using a mobile device and you do not need to be in front of your computer. Yes, the MT4 platform has a mobile and web version. But I am sure that there are traders like me who think that the mobile version of MT4 is not as convenient as the broker's own platform.

Which account to choose in order to trade equities? Which one suits best?
Asked by Javier Moreno (1 year ago)
I trade equities and other CFDs on "VIP Live Fixed Spreads Account". This account offers tight fixed spreads, which can be beneficial for trading equities. Additionally, it has a reasonable minimum trading lot and no commission, making it a cost-effective option for trading. Furthermore, the account offers a nice leverage, which can provide more trading opportunities. As of now, I am content with this account and would suggest it for equity trading. Nevertheless, since I have not traded in other areas, my ability to make a comparison is limited; thus conducting your own research is advisable.

What is the point of giving the client access to Live accounts if the broker has STP/ECN accounts?
Asked by Tugiman (1 year ago)
There are many factors that urge people to choose live accounts instead of ECN/STP. For instance, live accounts are characterized by bigger choice of base currency, higher leverage and some other crucial for traders things. Undoubtedly, order execution is far more speedy if we talk about ECN/STP accounts, nevertheless, when you are trading you barely notice the difference in order execution. Everything is because the broker did its best to ensure smooth trading for its clients regardless of their choice.
Answered by Fernando (1 year ago)
It all depends on the trading conditions you need. Specifically, it depends on what trading conditions you need for your trading strategy to bring the maximum return. Live accounts have advantages over STP/ECN accounts. That's why the broker gives maximum opportunities to its clients.
Answered by Yogesh (1 year ago)
What is the fundamental difference between STP/ECN accounts and Live accounts?
Asked by Benjamin (1 year ago)
ECN or STP accounts have a different system of order execution which differs from the traditional system used on Live accounts. This system is characterized by the fact that orders go to the interbank market directly without intermediaries. Thus the speed of execution of these orders is higher than traditional ones.

I once read the opinion of an experienced trader about it. He wrote that education no matter how simple it is can show weak points in your knowledge about trading. And this trader recommended even the most experienced traders to constantly repeat theoretical material and try to develop their skills. That's why I think that material provided by this broker can be useful for traders of all levels.
