I ordered over the phone. About three to four mistakes in the short message. Also, not a very friendly telephone operator. Also, answerphone message saying they don't open the lines until 9am - but it was five past!

We do aim to make ordering on the phone a little easier for our customers who do not feel confident ordering online, so I can only apologise this was not the case. I called to ask for advice for a Craft Magazine which would be part of (Sarah), my daughter-in-law's Christmas, and the young lady I spoke to recommended "Mollie Makes". When I saw the magazine online I thought it was a perfect choice because every time I see Sarah she is doing something different, mostly ideas of her own. They have a 6 year old, and 3 year old twins, all girls, and in the summer I gave Sarah a pattern which was in my "Prima" magazine. The pattern was for little girls' sun dresses, and I was delighted when I saw a photo of the girls wearing the dresses. I subscribe to a magazine every year as part of her Christmas, so this year I thought I had a good idea of my own, and so I asked her if she would like me to change to a Craft Magazine. Her face lit up, and so, that is the reason I was delighted to be recommended to "Mollie Makes" which I have now ordered. Thank you so much, and I now look forward to seeing the results of Sarah's handy work.

Your service is too slow, 2-4 weeks is a long time to wait for a magazine that is published weekly !

I felt lied to about what I was able to purchase using a gift card as the magazine subscription I wanted only accepted direct debit. I was told by the telephone operator that it is in the small print but on my main card it stated that I could choose from over a thousand magazines. The website was awfully unclear and didn't explain properly that I couldn't use the gift voucher on certain magazines so I ended up having to ring your helpline twice where I felt my enquire was handled without empathy. Finally, when I had gone back into select a magazine that I really didn't want (as I couldn't buy the marketing magazine I wanted - not even offsetting the value against the magazine subscription and then payin the remainder) I ended up having an invalid card that had already been activated. I was given two £20 codes to make up the £40 voucher total as an additional code I was given on the phone also had been redeemed and so was not accepted. The pricing was unclear for magazine subscriptions too as a few times I selected a magazine, only to get to check out and find it costed more so I couldn't buy it with my gift card. I ended up buying something just for the sake of it as my friends had gone to the trouble to get me a gift card so I could choose the subscription I wanted- unfortunately it was not made clear to them at purchase that I would not be able to buy the one I specifically wanted. An unfortunate gift and a real pain to implement. It irks me that the gift card was for £40 but the subscription was for slightly less than that amount and no clear mention of what happens to that extra money has been made. I think the miscommunication on the card and the short-changing is borderline dishonest and the only saving grace is that your company is at least opening a channel of communication so you can listen and hopefully act upon their grievances.

Dear Mr Capitanio, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Firstly, I would just like to apologise on behalf of us all at iSUBSCRiBE that your purchase was not made easy. I understand receiving a gift card from a family member or friend can be an exciting time, especially if you already have an idea on what you would like. I do apologise that the original magazine title you opted to select could not be redeemed with your voucher. We do advise to all of our customers that our gift cards cannot be used against any direct debit offers. This is clearly displayed on the back of your gift card and is also listed on our terms and conditions page on our main site. Unfortunately, as all direct debits orders are an ongoing payment and not handled by us we simply cannot redeem the voucher with these offers. In regards to the costing of the subscriptions, the particular publishers of the magazine set these prices. If you use a gift card on a purchase that is less than the gift card you will then have the remaining credit on the gift card to use against another order, or if the cost of the subscription greater than the gift card the customer will need to make an additional payment. This is standard practice with most gift cards. I am sorry that the gift card you had was invalid, we resolved this for you quickly by providing two £20 vouchers so you could continue placing your order. I've 'experienced' nothing since my order was acknowledged on 9 September. I have no idea when you will take payment for it or when I might expect a magazine. It is scarcely believable that a simple order might take an unknown number of weeks to be accepted, when a brief email ought to do the trick. I had supposed that modern technology would have speedier results.

Unfortunately, as we do not publish or send out any magazines we are unable to give the exact start dates to our customers, so recommend the industry guide lines of 2-4 weeks for weekly publications. I have however, contacted the publishers to advise you of your start date and have emailed you the details along with information of when your first payment will be taken. I hope this helps. I needed to renew subscription for my grandson, but since he is now at University wanted to change the delivery address. Rang to confirm renewal on computer had gone through ok. The lady at isubscribe was very helpful, saying she would confirm that the publishers were aware of change of delivery address.

I queried this with the publishers who also send their apologies and have advised this must have been an error. Excellent service one annual payment, a reminder to renew at the end of the year, my slimming world magazine arrives through my letterbox, I receive the latest edition before it's in the shop's and it works out a lot cheaper. What's not to like.

I use magazine subscriptions as presents for my parents. I have never had a problem with ordering magazines, renewing subscriptions or deliveries of the magazines. The website is easy to navigate and offers a good variety of reading material. overall, very pleased with isubscribe.
