“I have used Jay Brokers for many years. They're always fair with respect to what they're willing to pay you, and they pay right away once you accept their offer. Also, I always use my PayPal account and recently I didn't see their payment in my account. I emailed them and they got back to me right away, even though the problem was my error. They told me what I needed to do with my PayPal account, I did it and the payment showed in my account right away. Jay Brokers is great to do business with.”

“While the service was prompt and reliable as touted, the amount offered was WELL below the average market value of Taylor guitar submitted. Avg E-bay price (as well as Reverb and others) $1,377 - offer was $500. Fully understand they need to make a fair profit to stay in biz but over 100% is beyond fair. The old saying still remains true; "Price, Service, quality, pick two of the three". They choose Service and Quality.”

John, Thank you for your review. I understand it can be incredibly frustrating to not get the offer desired. One thing that is confusing about researching the value of items is--anyone can post an asking price online, but asking prices don't necessarily indicate the value of a product. Oftentimes you'll find the asking prices remain unpurchased or unsold, meaning they are too high for buyers, thus leaving them unsold. We find it more accurate to look at historical sold data as an indicator of value instead. Typically your guitar fetches closer to the $700-$900 mark secondhand. We're sorry for the confusion and disappointment though. I recommend trying to sell your guitar privately first to cutout the middleman markup. You should be able to get more that route.
