About JENZA:

Who is JENZA? Can I trust them? And why don’t you ever answer our calls? (Mum??). So, (mostly) legit questions to ask before you book. JENZA is the travel love child of USIT and BUNAC – two originals of the work and travel world founded by students in 1959 and 1962. Yep, we’re old AF. But with that, comes a ton of wise old owl expertise and trust. Basically, these chaps may be so new they chafe – but it’s not our first rodeo. Working as one global team, JENZA has the backing of 65+ years of work abroad experience, but has been built for today’s travellers. Shaped by our Youth Advisory Panel and given the stamp of approval by our roadtesters, it’s all in our logo: You Shaped Travel.

“This review is about Louise Newbury One of the kindest and most helpful people I know so far. She stayed every time someone had an issue until everything’s clear and was always there for our questions. I felt safe and understood every time. The Orientation is such an important event for everybody coming to New Zealand for the first time, especially if someone like Louise is involved in it, she made us laugh and helped us through the first days on the end of the world. I gained inspiration, tipps and experience because Louise shared her stories with us. The world needs more people like her!”

“While deciding which agency to go for I chose Jenza through Usit because I liked the aspect of having someone actually in Auckland when I first arrived to query any immediate questions or issues.Couldn't have chose a better agency to go with. Louise is such an interesting and knowledgeable person about so many aspects of New Zealand and its culture. All of her tips and recommendations were truly appreciated and very helpful in deciding what my next steps would be. Loved that she broke everything down and didn't mind any questions asked or going into details about best ways to travel or looking into any issues for anyone. She is such a genuine and caring person and it really shows in just how much of a great job she does and carries out to do for the whole time on your visa. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing the working holiday visa for this aspect alone.”

“Louise was so helpful and informative about the move to New Zealand, she made it so much less scarier and really helped the group bond and become friends. She gave us so many job opportunities and recommendations to help ease our minds and sorted every problem that popped up out quickly. Its nice to have a friendly face for the whole year who we can contact at any given moment.”

“during the early stages of deciding between camp agencies, I never felt like JENZA was trying to push me to choose their particular agency. they listened to my concern between the two I had in mind and validated how I was feeling. This is all I could ever ask for, and they provided me with exactly that. My emails were responded to almost within the hour, if not the day which was perfect when I have had so many questions.”

“Working with Jenza took all off the stress out of coming to NZ. Louise was so incredibly helpful and welcoming, she eased any worries I had and was so friendly. Having someone guide me through the necessary paperwork and all of the boring but essential bits and bobs like getting a new phone number or IRD number was a huge weight off my shoulders and made my first few days in Auckland all the more enjoyable. I can't stress enough how lovely and helpful Louise was. She had an answer for all 999+ questions I had, and even if she didn't know the answer herself, she went out of her way to find out for me. She really went above and beyond, helping other members of the group move their luggage and find accommodation, and even went over my travel plans with me to make sure I knew how to get from A to B and that I felt safe and confident every step of the way. Thank you so much Louise!”

“Many thanks to Louise! I have a very good and friendly relationship with Louise due to the small size of the group. During the first days of my working holiday, she informed us about everything important for New Zealand with the help of several detailed Power Point presentations. She helped us a lot with setting up the bank account, the SIM card and the IRD number. She was also there for us when we had questions about a job search or private questions and the greatest thing is that we can also contact her at any time we need help. It gives security, especially for solo travelers.”

“We had an amazing orientation week with Louise in Auckland. She was very friendly and capable. The meetings every morning were helping quite a lot and the meeting in the afternoon and evening were so much fun!”

“Louise gave us a very warm welcome in the first few days and was there to help us with any questions or problems. She gave us a good briefing and many helpful tips for traveling alone. If I needed help with something in between, she was able to help me a lot and made the initial phase a lot easier for me. I am very happy that I was accompanied so well the first few days. “Hannah and the JENZA team have been so informative throughout my whole process — from submitting my initial application, to questions even after being given my POE. Hannah has gone above and beyond and I'm so appreciative! Friendly, empathetic and professional, I have felt completely supported. Also, I know having worked in customer support how challenging it can be, especially during busy periods. Despite this, response time was so quick and all my questions were answered in detail.
