“After some trial and error I found the best way to make it work for me is by doubling the amount of liquid. Otherwise I find the it too thick and the aftertaste too strong, but now I can drink it without problem. It does keep me sufficiently full, which I appreciate.”

The texture will indeed be grainy as the shakes are based on oats. For a more milkshake-like texture, we would recommend the Plenny Drinks instead of the Shakes. “-- Pros -- I really like the concept and the fact that it's plant based. Pricing is good compared to other brands. I had to contact your customer service only once and the response was fast and helpful. I like the fact that it seems very healthy and full of vitamins. -- Neutral -- It unfortunately upsets my stomach, but that was expected due to the possible gluten content. I had high hopes for the pistachio powder as I love pistachio but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It doesn't taste so much like pistachio. I feel more sort of an anise taste. But I understand it's a matter of preference. Since I'm not a huge fan of oats, the texture doesn't please me so much. Again, preference. I wish it was a tiny bit sweeter, but I understand I can adjust that with my preferred sweetener. --- I might try it again in the future if any gluten free version is available and after I check with a doctor if it's really the gluten that upsets my stomach. “I wanted to try out the chocolate barre, It didn't taste much like any a bar, its more chewy and not much taste, I'm a bit disappointed but I'll keep on going with the chocolate shake its the best solution and favorite one so far :)”

“Ik had een serieus moeilijke vraag over de additieven in hun producten waar ik best bezorgd om was en heb een heel mooi, duidelijk en eerlijk antwoord gekregen. Dit geeft vertrouwen! De shake banaan is heel lekker en mijn partner die vaak op de baan is,is fan van de repen. Ik vind deze persoonlijk een beetje te droog. De vanille drank vind ik niet zo lekker maar het vult de maag wel heel goed!! Geen opgeblazen gevoel en voldoende energie. Ik ga hier zeker opnieuw aankopen”

“Pretty good! Sure, the texture is "mealy" like most other mealshakes, but the strawberry flavor is really good. None of the flavors taste fake, like I'm eating ice cream or something. I drink these when I'm out kiteboarding or at work.”

“I love Plenny Shakes v.03 and about 50% of my diet now consists of them. What deters me from making it close to 100% is that they make me reeeeaaaallly gassy if I eat too much of them. Maybe my stomach will get used to it? But it's unpleasant. Also, I miss the coffee taste, but I don't want to consume that much caffeine. Would be nice to have a coffee-tasting option without caffeine.”
