“I get Jimmy Joy shakes occasionally, for all those dinners and lazy lunches when I don't have the energy to cook. And honestly, it's a great product, tastes nice and feels like a decent meal. And all of that while being vegan, which is amazing.”

“The shakes for sure are filling, but the taste is really not it. The flavours are very weak and taste pretty chemical. On top of that the consistency is sandy and leaves an unpleasant coating in your mouth. I always have to drink something after the shakes to rinse it off. It's unfortunate because they are the best i tried as far as satiety but the taste is pretty bad”

“No brainer breakfast that keeps me full until lunch. It was my first time trying powder shakes and I’m pretty satisfied. The taste is not super strong, but I also haven’t been mixing it with fruits or other ingredients - just oat milk for a thicker shake. It made my morning go faster and my breakfast a no brainer.”

“I have recently ordered plenny shakes for the first time. They taste well enough to keep eating it daily. Experience with jimmy joy has been good but there is only one reason I am not fully satisfied-the grip bag package came in with defect, so it is really not closable, which is important for storaging.”

“I have so far only tried one of the two tastes I ordered - the chocolate one - but I like it! What I like most about it, is that it is not too sweet - as I'm am planning to sometimes substitute a whole meal with the plenny shake, it was important for me that the shakes are not too sweet, as they are supposed to be a proper meal and not a desert. Otherwise the chocolate taste is good but not too strong, So I could imagine the shake also being good in a smoothie with fruits. Excited to try the vanilla tomorrow! I use the meals for conveniance, as I don't always have time to cook a lunch I can take to uni - this way I save money as I don't have to buy a lunch at uni, and still get all the nutrients I need. The shippment of the parcel went very quickly, within a few working days and faster than expected!”

“I love your concept and have ordered a variety of your products. This review is of your meal bars. I have so far tried your chocolate bar, mocha bar and cherry bar. They taste good, are very filling and I definitively like how I can so easily bring a quick healthy lunch with me like that, however the flavour is very vague. They all just taste like a regular muesli bars with a slight after taste of whatever the name of the bar is. The three varieties I’ve tried so far are all fairly strong flavours so I was greatly disappointed that they don’t have a stronger taste. I’m probably not the only one who see the dark chocolate character on the bar and expects a heavy taste of dark chocolate and not a mild nutty taste with just the smell of chocolate. I really hope you make them more flavourful because I love absolutely every other aspect of them. I will continue to enjoy the ones I already have but I’m not sure I’ll buy any more as it is now because it will be a little too bland in the long run.”

Hey Fleur, wat jammer om te lezen dat je de Pots niet lekker vindt. Wist je dat we een hele goede en fijne 'binnen 30 dagen niet tevreden, geld terug garantie' hebben? “Jimmy Joy has always been a great company to deal with, quick to dispatch, helpful with queries and transparent about pricing. I return to them when finances and need allow. The only thing that will prevent me from ordering again is their use of Evri (who changed their name from Hermes to get rid of their awful reputation). They've mentioned that they plan to change to another shipping partner, so I will restart my subscription when that happens. I can't recommend JJ for the UK while they use Evri.”

“Shakes very nice but the hot pots are horrible, other flavours much nicer. You do need to give it some sort of a taste. Overall happy and will continue to buy but maybe other flavours...”

Hey, thanks for the review. Have you tried blending with more liquid or plant milk for a smoother texture? Or add frozen fruits for a thicker texture and flavor boost? “Ik heb de plenny pot besteld, ik zie liever de potten terug, ipv van deze zakken, ik heb nu steeds een andere smaak omdat je het gewoon elke keer anders krijgt, in de pot is het warm water erbij roeren en klaar, nu moet ik zelf mengen, en is de smaak niet hetzelfde, nu teveel poeder of te weinig! dat werkt niet, of apart de kruiden in zakje erbij, of de potten terug! Werk graag mee voor milieu maar wel met vaste smaak ;)”

Hoi H! Dank voor je review hier en onze excuses voor het ongemak natuurlijk. We hebben dit vaker te horen gekregen en om die reden hebben we de verpakking erop aangepast. De instructie daarop laat nu zien dat de zak goed geschud moet worden voor van onderaf naar boven te "scoopen" om zo een goede balans te krijgen. Het is zeker een minder exacte wetenschap op deze manier en we zullen je feedback hierover doorsturen naar de relevante afdelingen.
