The reason you note, flavor and texture, would make me refrain from advising to try others, maybe the Bars could be something for you, but the Shakes will all have the same texture, a bit of a grain to them, because of the oats they are made with. “I got the protein shakes and a few of them I was told they don’t taste powdery and every one of them do. Look I feel like I need to tell you the reason for these I have been unwell for some time now and have lost so much weight I was almost 13 stone and more than half that figure. I don’t eat a lot so they where to make sure I was getting some vitamins and minerals in me as am not doing to great with a loss of a fam member. My mental health just now am hiding from everyone I don’t feel like I want to talk about the poop going on there and around the matter of grief itself. Sorry for telling u this but I want to heal I want to eat again properly I just don’t want to look the way I do right now which include’s other issues going on with my health the eating thing. “If I hadn't bought another brand first (Jake), I might have liked it. However, when compared to Jake the taste is less pronounced, and hence less pleasing as a tastefull shake. 300 milliliters per shake is just not enough to keep a full feeling for long enough. And -once again only compared to Jake- the scooping method is a hasle, messy and does not give me the consistency I want from shake to shake, day to day.”

“I think the taste of the Plenny bars and the Plenny shake (strawberry) are very underwhelming. I’ve tried to mix the Plenny shake with water and also with water and oat milk mixed - and the texture is powdery and not very pleasing despite the length of shaking. The bars are too big and don’t have a good taste or texture. It feels like eating a brick of hay. The Plenny pot (Satay noodles) taste good! I would also have appreciated more updated on the delivery and fewer marketing emails.”

“I'm a long time Huel user, and I love it a lot. Decided to give Jimmy Joy a try, since it's cheaper and variety is always good, but I was disappointed. Shakes and pots are bland and tasteless, drinks taste fine but aren't that filling (I was sooo hungry after drinking them), bars feel like you chew on dry oats, and don't taste that much better than dry oats My concerns about shakes, pots and drinks may be a matter of taste, but bars are just bad Even scoop is way worse than Huel for some reason. It bends very easily, which makes it a lot harder to use. I have no idea how they could mess up the scoop, but here we are. Shaker and reusable pot are okay I enjoy the tone of voice of brand and loyalty program A LOT. I really wanted to like the product, but it unfortunately didn't happen”

“The pre meals were okay if you added your own spices to them, the bars were hard as a rock and almost tasteless sadly.. and the shake (banana) tasted like flour and I dont know why .. kinda sad for that price.”

“Having been a Huel user for a long time, I was happy to try something new. Sadly, I was disappointed. The satay noodles tasted very "vegetable-soupy" and stayed quite crunchy even after several minutes of soaking. The scoop was too flimsy and the handle broke off at the first deep dig. The strawberry shake had weak strawberry flavour and did not taste or feel pleasant to me. I much prefer the grainier texture and taste of Huel Black vanilla. The ready to drink shakes were too slimy for me, and again I did not enjoy the taste. The chocolate and vanilla bars were pretty good, but not the "salted caramel" one which had a weird celery smell and tasted too salty. Overall I am disappointed and won't be trying any more flavours.”
