Absolute scammers. Avoid like the plague. Try customer services for a laugh. That's all they'll do to you. . Bought a washing machine all wrapped up in original foam wrapping . Took it all off and it was smashed to bits .!! How did that foam manage to stay undamaged I wonder ? 🤔.

Avoid!! The two ice cream makers and cake boxes we bought looked fine in the images with no mention of damage or faults. Items turned up broken, cracked, motors not working and generally and not fit for any purpose. John Pye then have hiden behind terms and conditions for auctions and told us that you should always come and view the item. Not a single mention of any damage and no images of any broken parts - a blatant attempt to hide damage. Why sell it online then!? Shamefull company and a waste of money.

I WAS A LONG TERM EX EMPLOYEE WHO REITRED FOR CLARIFICATION Don't ever put your maximum bid, they will themselves or 3rd party bid it up just over you max to increase sales. It's dishonest for example, there is 493 individual amazon tablets (auction taking place on items as I write this) the lots with lower bids haven't increased but if I bid on one ( I had 25 originally I was winning on) then the new bid would magically be a higher bid every day or so many hours. They ALWAYS do it and have been reported by several people I can see. It may not be illegal I do not know but it is dishonest so stay far away from them. This is done to try and drive profit margins as they have no reserve proce in them. As you will see a few days later the same products will be back up on a different auction room or generally a different one. Also check you electronics as they are crooks when it comes to taking pictures in certain lighting and angles to hide imperfections that are not om the details/listing.

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS! If you spend time and effort to win a lot, don't think you will get it. I won 2 lots from same salesroom with delivery only option, paid an invoice total of more that £143 (12 items per two lots). Delivery was late and only 1 lot out of two. Spend more time with them to chase my items, and they offer me a "partial refund" of £23. They are SCAMMERS and supposed to be shut!

DO NOT BID or BUY anything from this company. READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!! 90% of their stock are either FAULTY or DAMAGED. They are NOT cleaned, tested or refurbished. They are SALVAGE RETURNS. You do NOT SAVE ANYTHING from buying from them. You will find a better deal from eBay and you can easily get your money back if it is faulty or damaged.

Mis sold and Misled: Dreadful, items not as described or as photographed. Refused to refund returned goods, feel totally mis sold. They could have taken photographs to show damaged and have stated good are damaged. I feel totally robbed.

Suggest no one buys anything from John Pye unless they can visit the auction site and view the item first. The descriptions online are very poor and only very few tell you condition. Invariably the products are damaged and not working and though pictures may look great, they nay not represent what your going to get. Add on costs fir commission and some highly inflated delivery charges and you will soon find it is better to buy off ebay or brand new. Their terms and conditions favour John Pye so no point complaining. Beware.

Huge disappointment- bought kids ride on car which was less than 50% complete. No way of getting it sorted. Should never have been offered for sale. Complete waste of money. All I would say is that DO NOT believe the description / stock photos - completely misleading.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM SOFABED. Sadly their employees doesn't know differences between Sofa and SOFABED. Trying to explain them by emails also with pictures they insisting sofabed has to have second part to make it bed. They thinking you need to buy sofa and also buy bed to make it sofabed. Omg sent 17 emails still they didn't understand sofabed has attached part underneath the cushion hided bed extensions. Bought from them sofabed they send me sofa and not sorting the issue. I'm going to small claim court to get my issue sorted. They need to train their employees about what is sofa what is sofabed and how they operates. Also they're stubborn about they're not admitting they've made a mistake. Disgusting attitude.

Just got scammed after buying an item which should have arrived 16 days, when chasing the item I am now getting the cut and paste response which then goes silent. This company is a scam and the more verified complaints they receive to watchdog the better. I'll be making my complaint, even Delboy and Rodney have morals

Whoever is running this company is trying to bankrupt it. Deliveries take a month, even for the smallest item and their T&Cs state 7 days but arrive weeks late. Their customer service is made of NPCs only able to copy and paste the T&Cs when confronted for being in breach of their own T&Cs they just make fake excuses. How does this terrible company still exist?

Delivery wait time over a month Poor customer service Company clearly in breach of its own Terms & Conditions, but when confronted they disregard it and refer to their "business standard" being different .... At its core, a company that displays a total disregard for its actual customers .... can't recommend

Complete scammers and con artists. Bought some antivirus software which is not possible to activate because the softwre had expired. When I complained their response was: We are an Auction House and this does differ to online stores and retail outlets. Our lots can be subject to faults, defects and imperfections which may subsist at the time of the sale. Lots at our auctions are not sold as being new, working, complete or fit for any purpose. We offer no warranty or guarantee as to the quality, age, correctness, condition, suitability, fitness for purpose or satisfactory quality of the Lot. So they are prepared to sell junk that does not work. Bunch of crooks!
