“My most recent on-line order of plants arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I have placed orders several times over the years and have always found the plants and service to be of the highest standard. I took the trouble a couple of weeks ago to visit Johnstown Garden Centre and have to say I was very impressed. It is so much more than a garden centre. My sister and I spent the whole day there and enjoyed a lovely lunch in delightful surroundings attended by friendly and efficent staff. My only complaint is that the gorgeous plants and garden accessories are too tempting to pass up and I bought more than I had on my list. Having said that my small garden looks amazing with a profusion of colour so it was time and money very well spent.”

“Process of ordering & paying online was very user friendly & efficient. Received part of my order within 48hrs but have stil not received the bulk gravel I ordered. Expected it within 3 to 4 working days but still nothing. Have called & was told it was a supplier issue & I should receive the product within the next 2 days. Disappointed with the delay but it appears to be a supplier issue & not Johnstown GC. It would have been nice to have been informed of the issue however as it appears the garden centre was aware of it!!”

Hi David, thank you for your comments and rest assured we were not aware of the delay. We were just informed today that the quarry had a large backlog so they were delayed in getting several orders out. Apologies again do let me know when your gravel arrives. It should be there today.

“Bought a David Austin rose online and am very impressed by both the quality of the plant and the delivery service. The packaging was excellent, a strong cardboard carton with the plant held securely in place with a stout cane. Plant arrived in perfect condition, with no sign of any physical damage or disease. Perfect!”

“I have never been to Johnstown Garden Cte but I hope to make a visit this summer. I have ordered plants twice online and both times the ordering process was easy . More importantly when I had a question (about plants) and rang them they were really helpful. Both times the plants arrived in great condition and so far are doing well in my garden. Yg”

“Having been given my first bonsai some time ago, I felt that it was time to look after it better, as it was a trifle pale! I ordered bonsai compost and food from Johnstown Garden Centre, in the hope that this would help. Their site was informative and it wasn't too difficult to arrive at a decision. My order arrived pdq, and I swear that my ficus is looking better already - after a root trim, replanting & feeding, and a week. Thanks a lot. I am afraid bonsai will be added to my list of collectibles now.”
