“I ordered (first time) live plants and trees, and was very surprised that they arrived in a box, also some branches where broken. I usually order plants from nurseries and they always arrive standing up, exposed to sunlight, not squished in a box without a light.”

Hi Maja, thank you for your comments. We pack the plants into a box to prevent them from being knocked around and provide the securest setting for them. They are packed into the box and delivered to your door in less than 24 hours which is not a problem for the plants we ship. Sorry to hear some braches were broken in transit, if there is anything badly damaged please do let me know - Katie (katie@johnstowngardencentre.ie)

“The plants i recieved were in good condition, oil damp and well packed apart fron over use of cellptPe which made it difficult to unpack the plants without damage. However the item I most wanted, salvia snoehill was not delivered as out of stock. This was known before the order was dwspatched, although in the catalogue but ,i was not informed or allowed to order a substitute,.”

Hi Ann, the plants are heavily taped so that they won't get damaged during transit. We informed you that the salvia was out of stock and sent the remainder without it. Sorry we could not get it for you.

“Ordered off Johnstown a few times now. Great service. The plants are always healthy and delivery is very fast. Never had any problems. Only once where I ordered 3 of each plant and they arrived with 1 of one plant and 5 of another. But I didn't mind so no complaints. Highly recommend them to anyone.”

“First time using this service found it excellent, website was so easy to navigate and the delivery service was excellent order delived with 48 hours. My house is hard to find (not on sat nav) but it was no bother a local courier service did the delivery. Will recommend and use again. Thanks.”
