“Took delivery of some very well wrapped plants. I was a bit worried about not choosing them myself, but needn't have been, I couldn't have picked better. Thank you.”

“Delighted with the plants I recieved from Johnstown Garden Center . This is the second time I have ordered online from them. The first time I ordered, my plants arrived by courrier the following day which I was delighted about. This time my only issue is that my plants were sent by An Post. I was emailed on a Thursday to say that they were despatched but I didn't recieve them until the following Monday and they were just a little bashed up. I know this is of no fault of Johnstown but I would prefer if my plants hadn't spent the weekend in a depot, and were sent by a company that had a little more care with my parcel. Will still be ordering again though from Johnstown Garden Center”

“Overall happy with plant selection, girl at the collection point outside very nice; my only dissapointment was I wanted to buy solar powered Christmas lights to decorate my garden tree and ceramic or glass or other then wicker hanging planter for my living room and there was none of those, I would expect you have some as the biggest garden centre in Ireland. Hope those become available in upcoming days.”

Hi Ewa, thanks for your comments! We only have the battery operated timer lights-you could time them to only come on at night time. This is all we have I'm afraid.

“It would be nice if you will email a customer when one of there order is not available prior to sending it to them and had an option to wait once the product they want is available or look for another plant as a swap for the unavailable plant or product.As it is upsetting if your received a different one from what you order and that product you order was meant to be a gift for someone.”

“I order a lot online at Johnstown Garden Centre overall very happy last order disappointed as plants that I ordered were wrong I ordered 3 Roses for your eyes only, but got just 1 Rose of that name the other 2 don't know what they are, have made a complaint sent an e mail+ photos.”

“Thank you for the plants delivered to my home. All is in order and looking very well. It's a great way to buy plants without even leaving your home. One word about keeping an eye on the difference between stock online as opposed to actual stock.”

Hi Anne! Thank you. Though your item was cheaper than postage, we still need to cover fees for packaging and the post service. The €4.75 is a flat fee for all orders except vouchers which are posted for free.

“Usual quick delivery of excellent quality products. One complaint though, the packaging only just survived the journey. The outer cardboard container was split on two sides on arrival. Nothing was lost in transit thank goodness!”

“The order placed was dealt with promptly and I collected it on Monday last. However, at the collection point when I asked the assistant what soil and care I should give to the Magnolia she did not know and had to resort to the computer. I was not impressed. Surely when my order was put together and placed upstairs a care advice leaflet should have been attached. Also the collection point was untidy and the counter needed a deep cleanse. I visited the cafe but the lady at the tillpoint did not ask me for my reward card. Hope this helps.”

“Plant quality and size was very good, as usual, but packing not as good. All flowering stems on Leucanthemum were broken because no support stick was used, and contents had all moved. Packers might benefit from knowing that the delivery men carry boxes by an end, which is why there can be a lot of slippage. Lynn Mitchell”
