“Couldn't believe I received my plants less than 24 hours after ordering. Very well wrapped and parcelled. The plants were in perfect condition. Postage rates were very, very reasonable.”

“I visit Johnstown several times a year and my garden is, hopefully testament to the quality of the plants that I have bought over the years. Due to the bad weather in early January I bought online for the first time. I collected my order yesterday (13th Jan) and it was simplicity itself. Gave my order number, which was then wheeled out to my car by a helpful young man. In all it took 5 minutes, perhaps I should order online more often except I love trawling the aisles for plants and shrubs in the Spring and Summer. PM (Co Meath)”

“Excellent personal service. First choice was not available and the care and attention to find an alternative could not have better. Birthday plants for my mother who was delighted with the perfumed jasmine at this time of year, and the beautiful pink coloured orchid in full bloom and with buds. The gentleman phoned me to apologise for not having the first choice ( I live in the UK), other florists have made substitute choices without informing the sender. Great service, excellent choices and best prices.”

“I ordered an Apple Tree, Two Hazelnut Trees and some Comfrey. They all arrived safe and sound within three or four days (and this was just after the Christmas period). The Trees look really good and I am looking forward to planting them out. Thank you JGC”

“I tried a few times to make my order online but could not do so. What i will say is when i called your garden center to explain i was trying to make an order online, the gentleman on the other end of the phone was excellent. “The website is fairly comprehensive, easy to use, and prices are reasonable. We were pleased with the delivery time the week of Christmas, and the quality of the small tree seems very good. It's up to the father-in-law now!”

“Once again I am delighted with my recent purchase from Johnstown garden centre. The website is very easy to navigate. The plants are always great quality. I was notified of the delivery of my order and contacted the next morning by the Courier and informed of the time of the delivery. I must complement the staff on the way the plants were wrapped and placed in the box. The attention to detail is excellent. The plants arrive in perfect condition. I can always purchase with confidence from Johnstown garden centre. Well done guys. Will certainly be back.”

“Hello, yes my purchase did arrive ‘intact’ but the exterior packaging was obviously old when packed and there were holes in various parts of it, even the postman commented upon its terrible condition. The contents however were in good condition, it was a potted rose, well packed internally and the soil was moistened. Steve.”

“The plants that I ordered were poorly packaged - they had been with a courier for too long and the soil was mainly out to the pot and the plants were not in great condition. Hopefully they will survive! Thanks”

Hi Catherine, I tracked your order and see that the courier could not reach you by phone for 4 days to effect delivery.. The plants are dormant at present so should have come to no harm in that time.
