“I have no quibble with Johnstown Garden Centre - the Fastway Courier, I think, was at fault. Unfortunately, the delivery should have been made on a Friday, but did not make it to me until the Monday. Now, I may have been at fault as I had an email from them to say that they had tried to ring me, but could not reach me. The number may have been my old one, so I sent an email back with my new one. I collected the parcel from my local pub on the Monday. When I got home and opened it, most of the soil had fallen out of the pot, and only one of the bamboos that had been taped had stayed in place. I felt that the man in the van had given the parcel a very rough ride. I soaked the roots and re-potted the tree and it looks okay. Just thought I would let you know - maybe a change of courier would be a good idea??”

Hi Adelia thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that the plant got knocked around a bit but this could easily happen if it is left over the weekend. We never ship plants on a Friday for this reason. I am glad to hear that your plant is still doing ok.

“The plants that I ordered arrived in good time. All are thriving; the best that I have received heretofore by courier from other suppliers. I would certainly recommend Johnstown for their service and the quality of their product. The overhaul of my garden is off and running, and I shall most definitely be ordering again. Well done.”

“Ordering was easy online, a very good range of products. I did however have to wait 11 days for order dispatch and some items were left off the order and I had to make contact again and get them sent on. There was no issue with sending them on when the Garden Centre was made aware of this, which was good. Overall good service and an excellent range online.”
