“As a very recent gardener I've found Johnstown garden centre - and website - to be excellent, I'm really impressed with the level of service and all the staff were so helpful on my last visit. I've another bed to plant and planning another visit at the weekend, Ciara”

“Having ordered a few trees and shrubs from johnstown garden centre on the Nass rd, I can say I was very pleased with the service to the north of Ireland. One of the shrubs had some die back, and died. I contacted them and received a new one with a few days. Great customer service and a lovely place to visit and to have a meal or coffee. Thank you again. Five stars!”

“I purchased a shauna maple tree from ye a couple of weeks ago online. I asked that I would be sent a healthy specimen when I was ordering. When I received my tree I did not like the look of it at all and would not have purchased it if I had been at your nursery. It did not look at all healthy. Three of the twigs on it were very tall with no growth on them what so ever. However I planted it as per instructions but it is now dying slowly before my eyes. The leaves are all withering and more and more are dying every day. I have kept it watered etc during the dry spell we have just had but did not overwater it by any means. I am very disappointed. Elizabeth Keyes.”

Hi Elizabeth, Acer trees have suffered from Spring Frost and the very cold May this year. I will send a replacement out to you this week.

“The plant I recieved was very small and of poor quality lying around a long time covered in moss to be honest I wouldn't buy from Johnstown garden centre again as they dealt with my complaint very poorly.”

Hi Derek Thanks for your review and sorry to hear you were not satisfied. The Gardenias are actually quite rare and the ones we stock are perfectly healthy. I can assure you they were a fresh batch just in a couple days before and they would have already taken 3-4 years to grow to that size. We did offer you a replacement but you declined. Did you mean to order an indoor gardenia? They have bigger leaves and bigger flowers. Best regards Katie

“Although the plants arrived within the week they were packed in a box which was too big so the plants moved around. They must also have been transported upside down as they had moved from their pots and the earth had shifted from the plants.”
