“Very good service, and excellent price, especially delivery charge! Was well pleased with the crab apple tree, and it was in good condition. It could perhaps have been packaged in cardboard, as courier had broken some lower branches, as he had no other way of handling it but by trunk. But overall, very pleased.”

“I was happy with the quality of the plants that arrived but there were only half the number I had ordered. There was supposed to be 10 spinach plants, I got six. Instead of 12 purple broccoli, I got six and the same for the lettuce.”

Hi Richard Really really sorry about this, the supplier had changed the amounts in the new batch we ordered from them and sent less but larger plants. We will send you out the extra at no charge. Sincere apologies again

Hi Anne! Thank you. Though your item was cheaper than postage, we still need to cover fees for packaging and the post service. The €4.75 is a flat fee for all orders except vouchers which are posted for free.

“Easy to use website. Plants arrived well packed and without any damage and of very good quality. Noticed a small delivery charge creeping in, fairly sure delivery used to be free for larger orders. Otherwise a very good service”

Hi Cheryl! Thanks so much for your lovely review! We appreciate it. Regarding delivery, it is now just €4.75 for all orders regardless of how much you order. We did previously do free delivery for orders over €75 but that was a long time ago and just was not working out well. We feel this way is best suited to all of our customers

“Ive ordered plants from Johnsons on numerous occasions. The plants arrive promptly well packaged and are beautiful. I am so pleased with them. I live in Roscommon so to be able to order on line is great for me. I highly recommend johnsons garden center.”
