“The Quality of the flowers is top class delivery a bit slow but over all I love the choice of shrubs and flowers. One thing I would like to see is how to feed and water more on the product information page. I will certainly be back to purchase more flowers.”

Hi Liam! This is gardening season so delivery times are going to be much slower than usual due to the high volume of orders. Thanks for your comments about the product information, though all plants, trees and shrubs require different care it would be too big of a job to put each individual plant's specific needs up and we don't have the resources currently. All customers are welcome to email us or chat online anytime they wish should there be any queries about plant needs

“When an order is placed the system should state clearly when delivery will be made, the present 5/14days shown on the website is vague, Gardening is an exact hobby for most of us and a few days can have implications on when we can get the plants in. Additionally a loyalty card would be a good idea”

Hi Paul, thank you for your comments. We have updated our website now to show our current lead time. This is gardening season and order volumes are extremely high but we are working through them as fast as possible. We do have a loyalty card that can be used in store or if you want to email us your loyalty number we can add points on from your online order. If you like, you can drop in and pick up a membership form or we can post one out to you.

“We ordered a celebration rose for our brothers birthday. Lovely choice, delivery on the day we requested, he was delighted with the plant. Very good communication with the company when we had a couple of queries. Definitely recommend.”

Hi John, Your Cornus Cappucino is a very new plant. There are no robust specimens yet of this plant as it is so new. Your plant is of one of just 6 specimens in all of Ireland and the first production of this plant in Europe. I hope it does really well in your garden and gives years and years of pleasure. You have a very rare tree in your garden now.

“all my dealings with johnstown garden centre has always been very positive. i was very happy with all my purchases. i have also had the pleasure of visiting the garden centre on a couple of occasions when we had the garden.ie get togethers in january and hope to be back next year.”

Cheers Nicola! This is the busiest time of year so most orders have a delay. We advise a 10-14 day delay due to the amount of orders we have to get through.

“I am usually very satisfied with the service and the quality of things I order from your establishment. I only have a problem when I try to add on to a existing order by typing the appropriate word in box provided, as it has never worked for me! I rang the business for advice on my last order, and the fellow was very nice, but there was no other communucation, so I decieded to pay the 2 delivery costs on the 2orders, as it isn't too costly and I do not drive. I'll see what happens with my next order!”

Hi laVerna, the code should work for you. The €0 delivery charge only shows up on the last page of checkout though as it is only calculated then, perhaps this is the issue? If not, perhaps try clearing your history and cache and using the add to order code (once you have an already outstanding order) and see if that works!
