I love the program, I really love working with my coach. I am not happy with the customer service. It takes weeks to hear back from doctors and the calibrate team. I am the founder of a startup so I get that things can get crazy but at this point you should have a bigger customer support team and medical team. I also think you should offer more after care. I was told I would be on my glp for 1 year but because I lost too much weight 6 months in I’m being take off of it. I would rather be on a maintenance dose or get a partial refund for the remaining months.

Hi Nicole, we are delighted to hear that you're loving the program and your coach. We are working hard to improve medication and response wait times, so we can deliver the experience you deserve. We really appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our respective teams.

The lack of communication and the channels can improve a lot. And a more involved doctor with at least every 3 month check up (zoom meeting)

The Calibrate system when fully functioning, medication, education, communication and support has been transformative for me. I’m lucky I was able to take advantage of 6 months of Calibrate before changes in pharmaceutical practices and insurance changes cut off access to medication. Medication and timely communication have disappeared from the program and without that it is a frustrating and ineffective program. I give Calibrate 5 stars for the 6 months I had when Calibrate was functioning and for my wonderful coach. I would give this “after” Calibrate that ghosts it’s members and can’t figure out this medication problem 1 star.

The program overall is amazing! I've never had this level of success with any other program. However, their support teams (Medical specifically) needs some work!

I am really pleased with the weight I have lost. However, the customer service is horrible. When I communicate with support it takes over a week to get a response. My coach responds immediately but they are not responsible for medication refills. On 2 occasions during the 1 year I was involved I needed to reach out to Calibrate to get necessary paperwork done for my script to be filled. The first took over 1 month to get resolved. The 2nd is still not resolved so I'm not sure how long it will take.

I was thrilled with my first year but masters program has left a little to be desired. I have experienced more anxiety with stress of not k owing if my prescriptions are being filled.

The medications have helped in weight loss. The process to contact them if you need assistance is not as simple as it should be. Overall, I don't have any complaints, but I am not so excited that I feel that I have to share with my friends.

I liked the program but am very disappointed in their communication. If I have a question and message the doctor, my coach or team on the app and via email it takes over a week to get a response. I’ve had questions about the medication and to not respond to med questions within a day or two is shocking and disappointing.

I think that communication needs to be better. It's very frustrating when as a member you run into issues and there is not someone that I can call or instantly speak with. I tried calling the number that was advertised as a contact and I left a message and NEVER received a callback. It makes me think that I wish I never signed up for the year 2 experience, which honestly I have not seen much from joining the year 2.

The program itself is amazing as are the GLP meds. Unfortunately there are some serious hiccups and communication issues in particular that are very frustrating.

The program itself is excellent. For the for six months I was extremely happy with all aspects of Calibrate. However, communication became very difficult and it’s extremely hard to get someone to answer any questions at all.

The first year was great. I felt supported and saw results. The transition to the second year has not been a good experience. Slow response times from Calibrate, medication challenges and less support. I’ve gained about 25% of my weight back. There is no oversight of this.

Melanie as a coach is fantastic. She really has been an amazing cheerleader and has given me very real tips to change my habits and was 99% of my good experience with Calibrate. The content, app, and medical guidance, and customer service left a lot to be desired. The beginning content was amazing but I was a lot of work to keep track of where you were when you clicked out and later on the class content felt like a lot of repeating content but in a way that isn’t acknowledging we reviewed it before. After the 6 month mark I felt the content and support (outside the coach) went downhill. A lot of that is also on me, but my commitment level was deeply affected by app change. It was so disruptive to my experience. I went from daily photo logs and getting great commentary and interaction with my coach to really struggling with how slow the UX was and how it was hard to get into a new groove. It’s getting better but to spend the last 6 months in a beta phase of an app is definitely frustrating. There was no clear onboarding to the app or announcements about what was new when features were released (I wanted to be able to go back to edit my meal logs) and how to adjust your routine and my routine in fact was deleted for a few weeks until I emailed the customer service team directly since the in app message was not getting a response . The medical team stopped checking in on medication after the 6 month mark, which left me a bit nervous about side effects of when I would be coming off the medication and how. Only when I had to prompt them myself near the end of the program did they even tell me if I don’t stay with Calibrate after the first year I’d have to see how it goes. Please feel free to read the exchanges I had with the medical team. I had very loose guidance until I pressed them further on how I need to handle that transition. It felt very sneaky to be pushed into 2nd year in order to do transition off Medication with the calibrate team guidance. It says it is a I also had to repeatedly ask for feedback on my 6 month labs and when the doctor finally got back to me they just typed out what I could clearly read on the labs. Nothing about whether what went up or down was ok. My first medical review they were specific about which numbers I should work on and by the time 6 months came around there was clearly no records they looked up on me and I felt like I was alone in my medical oversight. This is supposed to be a medically guided program, but I now realize that means medicine only, not a medical doctor. I say this all acknowledging that the program really worked for me and that I will likely sign up for year 2 because I want to keep working with Melanie, keep myself accountable, and work to transition off the medication with guidance. But I can’t recommend this program to friends or family because of how much of an uphill battle the second half is and that Calibrate clearly wants a longer than one year commitment. It’s a great concept and program but I think you experienced so much growth that the loyal early customers saw a big difference in the level of attention and support one needs to make this a sustainable life change once off the medication. Once you work that out, I have no doubt this will be life changing for many, but until then, I hope this review highlights some pain points from one of your biggest advocates to most disappointed.

I have done well with the medication. I’ve had longer than acceptable response time from the medical team. I feel like the Jumpstart Challenge and food journaling would have been beneficial earlier in the program. Other than accountability, I don’t get a huge benefit from coaching.

I think the coaching is good, the program is very good, the medication helps control hunger and cravings so it helps a lot, but the tracking part of the app/program is so bad, that I've almost given up. And I think the tracking is a crucial step

I haven’t had the greatest experience with Calibrate. A lot of my experiences with getting meds approved (and how the process was going and communicated) has been bumpy, and navigating through the app was not always a good thing. My interactions with my coach have been great though.

Program is too fast and 15 minute coaching sessions do not allow enough time to go over understanding.

Hi Allison. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear the pace of the coaching sessions is not what you expected. The role of your accountability coaching team is to act as your cheerleaders and accountability partners––you'll work together to establish goals that you can achieve during the program as well as long-term. Accountability coaching is supported by classes, recipes, and curriculum developed by an expert clinical advisory board and expert clinical council. With guidance from your coaching team, you’ll be empowered to find solutions to challenges and create a new day-to-day that’s sustainable and enjoyable. If your current coaching sessions aren't in a style that works best for you, we'd encourage you to talk to your coach about how to make the most of each appointment. You can leave notes for your coach in the Agenda section of the app, including topics you’d like to review for your upcoming session. If you have any questions in between sessions about the program curriculum you’ve read ahead of time, we’d recommend adding a note to your upcoming session and your coach can reply to you there. You can also always reach out to our Support Team in the Support Channel of the app if you have any other questions.

the medicine is very helpful, but the program recommendations are all over the place and the special dietary rules are hard to follow and even harder to track in their app. like most other apps like this it also doesn't play nice with most other fitness/tracking apps

Hi Ian. Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on our program. We really appreciate it. We're constantly working to improve our app so that it's the best tool to help keep you on track. We’re glad that you are finding the medication helpful. Research shows that the combination of both GLP-1 medications with accountability coaching in food, sleep, exercise, and emotional health is the most effective and safest option for long-term weight loss. Our nutrition philosophy is focused on helping you make healthier food choices. While there are fundamental principles to the Calibrate food philosophy, and it does take a bit of up-front effort to learn and adjust, we hope that making small changes in incremental steps will help make it sustainable for the long-term.

The advertisement seemed like there was more doctor engagement than there actually is. I have been on the program for months and outside of the first visit with doctor when he gave me the sales pitch I have received one email from the doctor.
