“Item I ordered was delivered cold and I waited over an hour I asked for my money back and I was refused a refund or credit it's poor customer service”

“ROBBING, STEALING RIDERS…. DO NOT ORDER, unless you want to pay for goods not received I have now lost every bit of patience with these delivery companies. On almost every order there is items missing and when telling them and asking for the products and not just a refund, you get ignored and then told on this occasion we are going to charge you for items you never received???! Is that not THEFT? Its is apparent that most of the time the issue is the rider stealing products and despite reporting this, they think its ok to keep my hard earned money.”

“I placed a mcdonald's delivery from boongate Peterborough. The delivery never arrived and the app said it was delivered. Just eat do not have a call centre to resolve issues instead problems are sorted out through email with a minimum of a two day wait. Disgusting customer service.”

“Do not order from just eat, my food was not delivered yet they won't refund me, they appear to employ dishonest drivers who steal your food and say they delivered it and just eat still expect you to pay”

“Beware of JUST EAT!!! They are a bunch of SCAMMERS!!! They dont even have a customer service number to help with your order. my order was incomplete, and they refused to refund or replace the order. Thats how they make their money. Google all the reviews first, before you place an order with these thieves!”

“Getting the sh!ts is in line with their “policies” I ordered dessert and the desserts, milkshake and ice cream all had a funky taste. I consumed no more than a quarter of my order because the dairy products in the food were off/ out of date. I ended up having diarrhoea the next day, complete loss of appetite and stomach cramps over the course of a week because of this. Apparently their policies state that I am not justified to get a refund or even partial refund of my £24 order. Protecting poor quality vendors over their customers health and wellbeing. Abysmal customer service. Can not excuse or forgive a service that protects poor vendors that cause food poisoning to their customer base. Will never order using this service again. I will try my luck moving forward with UberEats and Deliveroo.”

“Worst customer support I've ever experienced. They don't care about customer's experience or health and safety. They just want to rip you off your money. If you contact customer support for damaged packaging, food poisoning, etc they would just say thank you or sorry and shut the conversation. Forget refund, they won't even share your feedback with the restaurant.”

“Forgot several items in my order and they (Just Eat) are now refusing to refund me. Do not use Just Eat! Update: They’re still refusing to refund me. If you scroll through the reviews there are others like me, plus a ton of “5 star” reviews which are actually negative. Scammy business, absolutely shocking.”

“I work at Diggles café, Barrow in Furness. We got 2 Just eat orders ready within a couple of minutes of tem saying cook. The courier was over an hour late and had an extremely bad attitude. He also swore at us. This happened yesterday lunchtime. The food was ordered at 10:50 and it was after 12 when he turned up, while we were busy serving customers. The order numbers ended in 88 and 08. I believe he was called Nicholae or something similar. The man needs sacking. I also think he messed about with the orders because we admonished him for being so late.”

“Just eat Hi. I opened a business account for my new take away shop . And first week payment I had problem. someone to change my account details without my knowledge even I warned you few days before money has been transferred in to strange account. My local manager was aware of this too from few days before you transfers my money to someone else account. After 8 weeks talks with you you decided not to pay me. So I have spoken to another 5 just eat restaurant user too which they have kind of same problem with their payment with you too. I have a friend who works for a well know newspaper and he told me that he would be happy to bring it up to media level once I take my legal rights against you for my payment. I have also spoken to my solicitor and he is happy to deal behalf of us for our legal right against just eat if you don’t pay me. So please look in my issue again and can you get back to me in writing by email if you are going to pay or not and what is reason you are not paying if this is your decision. And then we can take next step to go ahead with our legal rights Kind regards”

“The driver stole my food and said it was delivered. I called as soon as I saw it said delivered for them to contact the driver and ask where the food was delivered to but they wouldn't contact the driver or offer any help at all. I asked for a manager who sent a copy / pasted "we have high standards and sorry this delivery wasn't satisfactory" message and ignored any of my requests to know what happened to the food I paid for. I will never order from them again. I see they have a history of this and from what I can gather, the Just Eat delivery team are told to keep the order and fetch the next one of they are having problems locating an address. There is a way to contact the customer through the delivery guy's app but this is up to the driver whether he chooses to do that or not. The team often tell drivers just to keep an order for an address they can't find so they can fetch the next delivery faster rather than waste time calling customer or looking for the address. This is likely what happened but they will never say it they just ignore you and tell you to wait 7 days for a refund.”
