“Nothing wrong with the product or the delivery service BUT the box the boots arrived in was marked “50% off” & the original cost of £74.99 was crossed out & replaced by £37.99. Why was I charged the full price ? I took this up with Sports Direct on 14 August but so far no response”

“I purchased a pair of Mount Low Ladies walking shoes on 6th August . (KARR40000059070546) The price on the box was £32.99 - I paid £64.99! I looked into returning them but unlike for example Clarks online you charge for returns I decided not to bother, as I had already paid postage and would have to pay postage to Amazon for another pair. I will not buy from you ever again, however.”

“Hello I paid my full price with postage and when I recvd item in the the post with a label tagged 50%off the company still took my payment even thro the payment is pre Auth payment can somebody please contact myself ADAP Regards”

“Order arrived clearly showing item being sold at 50% OFF - Sale price of £14.99. See photo attached. Raised with Customer Service Team who refused request for part refund (£15.00) - no good will or consideration shown. Had many items in the past but has put me off considering this product again.”

“The service was quick and there were regular updates. However, the daypack I ordered arrived with a tag for 50% sale price and I was charged the full price. The product was good though.”

“When I received my order it had a price tag on it showing 50% off the purchase price, £19.99. However, I had been charged the full advertised price. I think this is an absolute nerve and will not shop with Karrimor again or recommend it to anyone.”

“Appalling. Trainers cost £44.95 online at Karrimor website. Arrived in box with that price scratched out and a sale sticker showing actual price of £22.99 Contacted customer service and they have refused to refund. the difference. Said the sale had ended and I was sent the wrong box When I then replied by sending a link to the sports direct website (they own Karrimor) where it was still on sale, they refused to respond. First and last Karrimor purchase. Avoid.”

“The product may be good. However buying online is a bit of an expensive trip. Ordering was as easy as anything however when we ordered and paid by card we thought hey ho. Although everything was full price I was sure it was worth the expense. Then the goods arrived. All with labels at half price but I was charged full price. So if I had driven the 30 miles to the sports direct store I could have saved £70. I am sure that it will be put across that that is the pleasure of internet shopping but it will put me off using the website again.”

“I ordered Antibes Leather sandals to replace my well used and well loved Karrimor sandals. The order process and the information on despatch and delivery tracking was excellent ( to France at extra cost - total £55.82). I opened the package today and have now two complaints 1: the box has a 50% off sticker - £26.99 see photo - very annoying. 2: My old sandals had an inner sole of a suede material the new ones have a plastic inner sole which immediately feels tacky against the foot. The other ajustable straps enable a reasonable fit seven though the sandal is almost 1cm narrower than the old. It is the unpleasant feeling sole ( inner ) that is the reason for my returning this item”
