This lock is fire rated for installation in an apartment in NSW.
The lock was installed with the supplied mortice.
It is slim lock horizontally, but quite tall.
The fingerprint reading responds very quickly, it seems to be important to maintain a similar orinentation of your finger when accessing the lock, sideways compared to how the finger print was recorded does not work.
RFID key tags are easy to program (The Schlage Omnia uses Mifare 1K 13.56MHz technology.) - from tech supoprt.
The RFID keys are available on ebay and amazon.
I have also installed this lock on an existing mortice. Be careful of the alignment on the handle and the existing mortice, it was necessary to enarge the hole behind the handle to allow good alignment from the new Schlage Omnia throught the existing mortice.
Retrofitting this lock to replace an existing morice lock handle was not difficult.”
