“Not a fan of the new testing strips. I've received a box that had about half of the ketone foil packets empty, and I'm not convinced of the accuracy of my current box.”

“First off it forced us to update to a new unit. For some reason my unit does not want to fully sync. It has been saying the same thing for hours. The strip packets are a pain to open. How far down does the lancet go. There must be a better reliable way for this to fit in.”

“Ordered what appeared to be the latest model online, a few minutes later I was on Facebook received an advertisement that appeared to be selling a newer model. It was late Friday night so I immediately called and left a message. I received no return phone call to later find a email saying I hope you found your answer if not let us know. WHAT?! We will be ordering another meter for my husband it probably will not be Keto-Mojo - no customer service.”

“I have been using the keto mojo for about two years, an early customer. Last year I upgraded to the newest model. I am all around happy with the product, and the customer service. However, the app is hands down the worst I have ever used. Some issues have been resolved, but every day it takes a ridiculous amount of time to open the app, connect to my meter, upload my results and then actually view them. What should take just a few seconds, takes in excess of 5+ minutes! I have a Bluetooth bathroom scale that connects to an app on my phone, and it takes seconds to view my results. Why doesn’t this meter automatically connect and display my results? I am trying to remain loyal, but I have considered switching to a competitor because of the wasted time I spend every day to actually see my results on my app. (I have an iPhone 11 with up to date software.) I have not seen an update to the Keto-Mojo app, maybe ever, but certainly not for months. When can we expect to see improvements?”

“I have the new meter and it’s only need a few months and I’ve had to replace the batteries 3 times. The case must turn the device on over and over and drain the battery. I was happier with the old model”

“The strips work great, but the packaging of the individual strips are terrible. They are hard to open and the strips are never oriented the same direction, so you cannot simply tear the same corner and insert it into the reader. They need to take a lesson from the Abbott Precision Xtra meter. This lack of uniformity makes me wonder about the whole manufacturing process, although I have not had any issues with individual strips. Before submitting this review I reached out to Keto-Mojo and they sent me back a response that did not address my concerns. I reached out again and they did not respond. Since they are asking me again to submit a review, I am doing so.”

“The new model hasn't really produced better test-retest reliability -- two glucose readings taken seconds apart can vary by over 15 points. What's worse is the amount of waste produced by individually wrapped strips. I appreciate having the GKI number automatically calculated along with the low/moderate/high ketosis read-out, but overall, this is a C+/B- device.”

“I bought the combination strips. The packets in this box are especially difficult to open, I've damaged the strips trying to open them and have been unable to use them. The strips are expensive and it's disappointing.”

“I bought the premium package which includes a few strips of both glucose and ketone test strips. I would think a premium package would include a like number of lancets. It does not. Therefore not 100% satisfied.”

“Seems like it takes a long time to get your order and products (ketone strips especially) are a little expensive. I would use my meter more if it weren’t for that.”

“The meter is fine although I don’t think the upgrade was unnecessary. It is the test strips I am unhappy with. They are harder to see the blood drawn up into the strips and almost impossible for me to get them out of the individual packages. I am looking for another brand now.”
