“I wanted to buy local recently in killarney willing to spend more for a leather jacket in person and candle. Went to pay at the counter, got asked did I want a bag (!). I said yes of course, then the cashier proceeded to charge me for the bag so I walked out leaving all the purchase over 100 euros behind. Ended up buying a similar jacket online instead. I am happy to pay a premium to shop local but to be expected to pay for a paper bag too is uncalled for. I will no longer shop in the kilkenny shop for this reason”
