“One of the worst buying experiences I have ever had. I placed a pre-order for Lars Frederiksen's To Victory on October 28th 2021. The album was due to be released on November 26th 2021. On November 3rd, I got an email saying that the special edition "splatter" I ordered was no longer available and they would be replacing it with a different color. Fine. On December 1st 2021, I finally got an email saying that my order shipped. 5 whole days AFTER the album was released. Did I mention that this was a PRE-ORDER??? In the meantime, completely unrelated, I ordered a record off of someone from the Czech Republic on Discogs. I am located in Canada. I got their shipment for a flat rate of $20 CAD a week and a half later. The order that I placed on October 28th, almost a full month BEFORE the album release, which shipped on December 1st, finally got here yesterday, January 4th 2022. EFFING RIDICULOUS. I can already hear the excuses... "The pressing plant this..." and "Postal service that..." BULLS... My local record store had the album on time (actually they had the "special edition" one that I was told was unavailable), so did countless others on social media (some of which had it in advance). FIX YOUR SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS PROBLEM!!! Your rates are WAY too high. When it costs more for shipping than the item you are ordering, it's a problem. Maybe look at an alternative such as NetParcel for shipping?? Until then, I will no longer be a customer.”

“This is the third time I’ve ordered from there and the third time I’ve had multiple issues. To begin with, don’t expect your item to even be shipped within the first week. They blame co-vid for the delays but once it actually reached the post office I had it within a day. Assuming that all of the items were included and accounted for. Which wasn’t the case here. Again. Good luck contacting support. I never hear back so I’ll follow up and they just tell me that they’ve not received a request from me and that the tracking number shows the item was delivered. Even after explaining that yes, tracking shows the item delivered but there were three items and one was correct, one was wrong shirt and size and the other didn’t show up at all. Beyond frustrating”

“I live in Hawaii but the shipping cost applied by Kings Road web stores is still unreasonably expensive. I buy records and shirts online frequently and am never charged anywhere near as much for shipping as I am by Kings Road. I resorted to having my Descendents order shipped to family in California and then had them mail the package to me, which was still less expensive than what Kings Road wanted to charge me for shipping. Yes it’s a hassle and takes longer but it’s still better than being gouged for shipping directly from K R.”

“You have a great store great products. Good band selections. Delivery is always on time. The only thing is you have many great products that I would buy out of stock but I constantly check to see if their in , you need to restock your inventory. Your prices are very good”

“I pre ordered a crop top sweater which didn’t show up on time or even ship on the belated shipping date. It shipped about a week after the changed date. The quality of the sweater is crappy and it looks like it was stitched and just ripped off the machine. There are white strings on the blue and black sweater just hanging around and the stitching is not straight at all. Very disappointed.. not to mention the bottom of the crop top looks like someone just scissored it as it’s not straight and strings feathering off everywhere.”
